Notice how Sasuke switched places with Boruto to block the rods, just like he jumped in and blocked Naruto from Haku's needles. That was such a dope callback to OG Naruto and showing Sasuke, the _Uzumaki Protector_ from generation to generation.

Ironically, it was the other way around in the manga:
Ishikki took Sasuke's sword and was about to stab him with it and then Boruto jumped just in the middle to block the attack (taking advantage in the fact that Isshiki needed him alive)

Fun facts:
In the manga Ishikki teleported right away in the village (so that whole Shikamaru's speech and the moment with the OG secondary cast didn't happen)
Also, Ishikki only attacked the village after Naruto refused to bring Kawaki (before he was just asking random shinobi about him)
Sasuke’s favorite thing : throwing Naruto’s kid toward Otsutsukis 😂 dragged Boruto’s ass against Momo and now Isshiki ? Bro 😭

Daily reminder: Isshiki tried to feed Kaguya to the ten tails but failed miserably when she defended herself and clapped him so bad that he was crawling on the ground in his own blood pool and had to go into hiding for centuries just to recover. Base Kaguya defeated Isshiki easily without even having eaten the chakra fruit on earth, absorbed the ten tails or god tree yet as well.

To my understsnding Urashiki lost in a fight to Jiraiya, Boruto, kid Naruto, and Adult Sasuke. Isshiki on the other hand...off screened rock lee, tenten, konohamru, and kiba in one punch. Then went on to whoop Adult Sasuke, break Boruto's bones, and punk Naruto to the point where Naruto had to basically open the 8 gates version of the ninetails chakra mode. And even with all that...it wasn't all the way enough. Kawaki needed to hop in the picture. Keep in mind that Isshiki was weakened after the previous Naruto + Sasuke fight and just got out of a fight with Kashin Koji. I'd put Hagoromo and Hamura in the high tier and then put Isshiki with Kaguya. It took Hagoromo and Hamura ,[combined], daysof fighting just to [seal] Kaguya 😅. But feel free to help me better understand where you're coming from bro

The reason why boruto’s karma is already at 80% even though kawaki has had it longer is because of the resonance. It basically sped up the process.

I don’t understand why rock Lee didn’t open any gates. Even if he would stand no chance against ishiki He could have at least bought some time even a second worth the time when it comes to battle especially even an anime a second could be a large amount of time.
What have they done to his character.
The only sense of last hope I have is that they do him well in “Boruto shippuden” but other wise it also sucks what they did to the rest of them too like choji. Shino etc. Choji didn’t even turn giant at the very least.
He probably used the gates, it just doesn't matter. Isshiki is so overpowered that even Sasuke can practically do nothing to him. Baryon Mode is the only thing that can take him. I'd have preferred if they didn't all get off-screened and at least distracted him a little bit, but oh well.
Idk why, I tried to get into Boruto but I just can’t get past them fighting aliens. It seems so ridiculous. My least favorite part of shippuden was kaguya and now all this. I want to because people seem hyped but I just rather watch JJK.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move and Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, Fused Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke and ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further and still lost 1v1 to KID Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.
3. Base Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing Fused Momoshiki and punching him in the stomach, activated his jougan and countered Momoshiki's taijutsu which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(that was mixed with both Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat Fused Momoshiki. But the *FACT* remain that KID Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki 1v1 and held his own and won proving he's already Otsutsuki tier, it's not debatable.
Now can't wait for next episodes reaction 😫.
