Theres actually good reason for this, a couple years ago Google upended their algorithm; previously videos that got tons of views from different sources would make a video go viral/reach success but after google changed the parameters of success the goal of youtubers became having viewers watch until the end of the video with as many ads as possible this is called "viewer retention" and it has become the most important statistic for a youtuber.
I came down looking for this comment...maybe mention aswell that he's also the same Chris (Oney) from OneyNG since pretty much everyone on the internet has seen his animations, at the very least they've seen the famous Wingardium Leviosa video ("Stohp it Ron! Stohhp!"), but not that many people (relative to the OneyNG days) know he continued his YT career with a uniquely hilarious let's play channel. Not only did the channel reintroduce Chris/Oney to me, it also introduced me to Zach Hadel who is easily one of the funniest people alive (who btw is one of the two masterminds behind the popular adult swim series "Smiling Friends"). Their worms series (WMD and Armageddon) are my favorite worms content on YT and the Goons spotting the iconic Oney alien is a crossover I did not expect today.
am i the only one who notices the occasional kingdom hearts sound effects being used? i was recently playing through those games and hearing those sounds were like a sleeper agent activation phrase for me lol
