I'm a huge fan of Islam but I saw it more as a draw. Volk was the first to mentally defeat Islam. Islam looked mentally defeated from the end of round 4. All those knock downs they said Volk got against Islam were a push in the 1st round then Islam tripped on his own feat the other 2 times. The 5th is the only time Volk got a real knock down. Islam looked uncomfortable on the feat but he still beat Volk at striking
They say he was robbed because even if it was a competitive fight the wrong person won. Volk landed more strikes, was more accurate more significant strikes stopped the takedown well and when he didn't Islam just held him and didn't try to do anything special.

If you think this was a robbery you are out of your mind. Volk did absolutely wonderful especially in the last minute but he did not won this fight. The problem is a lot of people expected Islam to run through volk but that did not happen and it was close so because it was close a lot of emotional fans of volk say robbery. If you look at the fight objectively you will realize that Islam won. Anyways happy they are both safe and delivered a very good fight👏👏

I agree. Very close fight. Just because the judges gave a stupid score doesn't mean that Islam didn't win. He barely won but he won. The commentary was off too. All those knock downs they said Volk got against Islam were a push in the 1st round then Islam tripped on his own feat the other 2 times. The 5th is the only time Volk got a real knock down. Islam looked uncomfortable on the feat but he still beat Volk at striking
They say he was robbed because even if it was a competitive fight the wrong person won. Volk landed more strikes, was more accurate more significant strikes stopped the takedown well and when he didn't Islam just held him and didn't try to do anything special.
