Eugene coaches Adesanya and Volkanovski, in the embedded I don’t know which episode, he quotes “point fighting” after making volkanovski do leg kicks and smiles. It’s kinda disgusting how they cheese the system like this, but whatever, it’s earning them wins regardless.

Max won the fight but, the 5th wasn't a part of that win. He lost rhythm and had one takedown against him that actually stuck at the end. Max didn't win the 5th. He certainly won 1-3.

When it’s a close match, the winner should be the one with the most knockdowns in this case. Takedowns where u can’t hold the guy down or inflict any damage whatsoever after the take down, should mean crap compared to knockdowns

Strike knockdowns during any particular round should make it a 2 point advantage for that round. Either that, or each strike knockdown is worth a point. If this were the case, a lot of these fight decisions would end fairly. A knockdown is a huge event in a fight, and it should count as that. Desperation takedowns where the opponent gets right back up shouldn’t count as anything. These little scared desperate takedowns need to stop deciding rounds. This sport is doomed at this point if this scoring and judging continues.
