I've just got back to England from Scotland a few hours ago. Scotland had the most amazing views I've seen, there are so many places to take amazing photos.wish I could have go to all the views I seen from the train. Breathtaking
This is just wonderful, wonderful stories, wonderful images, a wonderful account and a great encouragement for us wannabe photographic storytellers. I feel challenged to keep going in my own locality. My thanks from New Zealand.
Thank you for warming the cockles of my heart. My husband and I both had parents from Glasgow and the Renton. I had the blessing of going there four times over the years. I sent your video to all my internet relatives. At 85 I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your work which was sent to me by my son, who is a photographer too. God Bless. Agnes Mc Kim. P S. My father-in-law played for Vale of Leven, John.
Thank you Jim Richardson and B&H for this magnificent presentation of stunning photographs that told the story of a fortunate Photographer in the Scottish Isles. I very much enjoyed your style Jim and was glad of the mentions of equipment used, just for reference and interested to hear you talk of 'balloon photography' before the use of Drones became so ubiquitous. I learned lots! Great generosity to share this with us all..
What a wonderful video! As a native Scot I've explored the Highlands and Islands of Scotland by bicycle for most of my adult life, but seldom had the time or the dedication to produce pictures of such quality, as befits National Geographic. Thank you!
What a wonderful love letter to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. I was enthralled from start to finish. Skye Photo Academy (based on the Isle of Skye) runs 3 residential photographic workshops on St Kilda, small groups accommodated in refurbished abandoned houses in the village, over three consecutive weeks in the summer. (I was due to go this summer until Covid intervened.)
Wow, Wow, Wow. Serendipity of reward ! Justly earned. The glorious passion of your life, work, personality and experience is all that I had in mind for my own photography when I moved to Scotland. Sadly my plans were scuppered when I had to move back south but thank you soooo much for sharing your unique images and story. Wonderful, inspiring and fascinating in equal measure.
Smashing stories with fantastic photos, you have seen more of Scotland than I have, and I was born and bred here haha. I thank you for doing this as it is certainly a great account of Scotland and I am sure it will help encourage others to come and visit my country. I would also like to say that fantastic as this has been, there is still lots that you haven’t seen or photographed yet so I reckon you will have to comeback a couple more times 😜
A great story with great images. I live to the east of Edinburgh and have visited some of the areas covered. One omission - what about the Shetland Isles?
What place do you like to revisit and capture?

Lived in Scotland for six years. It is by far the most amazing place to be. Orkney is stunning. Thanks so much for this passionate presentation.
