I created this short after my father, in his late eighties, had several near fatal medical incidents this past year. It forced me to confront my own mortality, and through the creation process of this video, using AI imagery creation, animation, and music as a medium, I was also exposed to the dizzying exponential growth of AI and the potential Pandora's Box it represents to humanity. While some might see this short as a bleak and pessimistic vision of our future, I believe it may be overly optimistic. As portrayed here, our lives will be permitted to continue to a relatively natural end. I truly fear the worse, however. I would lecture us to move forward with this technology cautiously, if at all, but the point is likely moot already. 15 years back I volunteered to drive elderly women on day trips and learned a lot about loneliness and kindness, presently only practice one of them. I watched perfectly healthy 80\90 yr olds go from fine one day to passing away within a week/days. Many have their daily routines but nobody is prepared for tomorrow. My reading matter says no one will be relaxing during the end times and people who worry about the end times should be reminded that chances are the end times is when they pass away. My life has been relatively enjoyable the last 8 years because I been exposed to you and the Grace following. My major disappointments over the last few years is when one of us fades away and we never hear from them again. We know so much about each other because we aren't mixed in with a 100mil Grace followers.
