Resolving the Atris Situation With the Dark Side

- With the Handmaiden going back to the Polar Academy on Telos, she finds out that her sisters plan to kill her. She defeats them and is confronted by Atris and a lightsaber duel breaks out. Atris then decides to destroy her with the dark side and then is confronted by the Exile.
A lightsaber duel breaks out and eventually the Exile destroys Atris and the Handmaiden reveals that her real name is Brianna.

Around this time Atris was supposed to join the party after Kreia leaves but the creaters took that out and its part of the cut content now and for proof of this, Atris's file in the files has her named as a party member and also having her portreit in there as well, its a shame they took that out though.
I always kill Atris, even on Light Side runs. She reminds me of my abusive 6th grade teacher.
Even when I play light side i'm tempted to choose this scenario. Atris is so arrogant and totally convinced in her own righteousness, as well as that of the jedi council.

Is the fight with the handmaiden sisters in the vanilla game? It was always the most difficult part of the restored content mod for me and I have to use a lot of kiting.
Depends on what you prefer. It's more convenient to play it on the xbox, but if you like to play with mods then the PC is what you should do.
Shem you make the best mods ever. My fav ones are Movie style DS transitions, prequel sabers for TSL, Ultimate Sound Mod, and sith assasins with lightsabers
nice use of mods here, Shem. I love how you use so many different ones and they all mix very well, and it even matches the story. I especially enjoy the blue lightsaber instead of red, since Atris still thinks she's a jedi, and it seems you used a mod to alter her face a little? But then again, you probably already answered that in another video. Still, great vid, one of my favorites hands down. (The best part is the last line IMO ;-D
Some modder named Stoffe looked into this and she knew the scripts so well in the game that she learned that it was impossible to add them both in at the same time. The game was hard coded that way.
It depends on your preference and how you build your character.
Single bladed is good if you like a challenge and if you use the dueling feats to give you extra defense.
The double-bladed and dual lightsaber style is for those who like to use two-handed feats and like to really inflict damage on their opponents.

@JediShemL um i have played dark side before but i dont remember black clothes maybe its for pc only or i just wasnt paying attention. does she have to be jedi? cause if so thats the reason

How did you get that dialog, those lightsaber sound fxs and everything. Cuz I have this game beaten it on both light and dark for male and never got any of those sound fxs, or dialog just the one it usualy has?
it is nearly impossible for me as a dark side male with an unmodded kotor 2 to make brianna a dark jedi
Well, hello Lord Reaper. The lighting and Force Crush sounds come with my Ultimate Sound Mod.
A very addicting game.I played it more than KOTOR.
I can't link the darn thing because RUclips has that feature disabled. I just explained in the person who commented earlier how to find it. Just use the word "Sith Lord Armor" in your search on KotorFiles. It's so obvious where the search is since it's at the top of the page.
@JediShemL Oh. Also, I was wondering have you used the LS/DS Handmaiden clothing mod? It gives her suit a chestplate like Darth Vader or makes it look more like that. And does her suit look like Tali'Zorah's to you?

It doesn't come with my Playable Dopak mod, but that armor is available to use. It's called "Sith Lord Armor" and it's in the mod section under armor.
How did you get your charicter to go down the dark side with out turning all gray? I mean your charicter has a normal face but red eyes, mines all gray with gray eyes.
By the way, I love the sound mod you made for the lightsaber. It sounds awesome.

The problem doing it that way in a video is that people will think I beat her too fast and it wouldn't be much of a fight.
Look at some of my other videos to see how often I have 1-hit killed my enemies.

Hey Shem, what is the mod for the 3rd icon on the taskbar utilities bar thingy.
is there any advantage to using 1 lightsaber over a double-bladed or duel wield
@ultimatekotorfan: At the end of the duel? That is something HouseOfAmon made. It's something to control your lightsaber being on or off when not in combat.
Notice it was on another icon until the second part of the duel scene played. Between scenes, I made sure the lightsaber was on. Usually when you confront Artis in her Sith room, your saber is off. I thought it would be better for the scene if both characters had their sabers on when they were about to confront each other.
i still can't get force crush it's like i just can't get it do you learn it from kreia do you have to have a certain influence with her do you have to have like a certain prestige class or what
can this be done on the xbox version of the game to?

JediShemL do the apprentices you turn to the darkside get any special dark side dialogue like this after they've fallen or do they pretty much just remain the same?Do they even call you master?Will they embrace acts of cruelty or still scold you for it?If not are there any mods to add that?

@Phatooine i do not, it's hardly a feature alot of fans play these games dry.. including me. i figured it was more of a worthy title than just an expert at a single video game. to have been thrown out in such a manner. but nonetheless it peaked my interest

It's a long and complicated answer that I'm not going to type out. May I suggest a strategy guide.
no it matters what color you chose the beging of the game atton asks what color your lightsaber was and if you choose one then atris gets your lightsaber

Brianna doesnt kill them, she just knocks them unconciouse

You can trap her in that room and make her more to the dak side.

Get influence with her. The best way is to train with her and learn Echani fighting techniques to get influence.

You want the easy way out? Destroy the panel with the numbers, and the door opens.

@Kejoin95: Well, that's just it. It's a combination of mods together that you're seeing. It's not just one item. Just have a look around KotorFiles and find some of my clothing and item mods out there.

You have to realize that some people really just don't know because they were narrow minded when playing a role playing game such as the KOTOR games.
Neverslep24 just never saw the Handmaiden on the dark side and cried mod because he didn't know any better because of his narrow mind.

in duel wield and double bladed both blades do less damage and have less chance to hit
this can be countered by the dual weapons feat and balanced weapons

@JediShemL Actually she gains such cheesy unarmed abilities by that point of the game that she honestly does more damage without it.
