In this video, I share my thoughts about this study and how important it is to see ourselves through God's eyes.
Introduction and Day One.
Jesus told me I have to spend more time in my Bible and more about how to live with my neighbors. I am enjoying this study. I am reading from my Catholic Bible in modern English for women. Living the word. ❤❤❤

Scroll to the bottom of the page and look at all the reviews. It has a 5-star rating. And you can color and take notes in it.

I will look for that Ispire catholic bible since it’s large print. The one I am using is not large print but it teaches you all lot. The name is. Living the word Catholic women’s bible. By ave Maria press. I love it.
There is a St Joseph catholic bible and it’s also large print. Just came out.
One of your videos popped up and you were talking about scripture journaling. I had fallen and broke my arm just below the shoulder. It was so bad that most every muscle was injured. I couldn’t write at all. But your message gave me something to look forward to. When you talked about doing the Bible study I was still struggling with my writing. I bought the book anyway and thought I would do what I could and at least follow along. This past weekend, over a 24 hour period, my arm improved significantly!!! So much that now I can write and color. I really believe God touched me so I can do this study with you. You have really been a blessing to me in these months of my healing and recovery.
Oh my goodness, Carrie! Praise the Lord for how he is working in your life and in your health. I'm sorry you had to go through that bad break in your arm. I got my book yesterday. I set myself up at my desk with soft jazz playing in the background as the sun started to get lower in the sky, a favorite time of day. I was totally immersed in coloring when much to my surprise i started crying. The message i received was " I am the light". I had been trying to color a sunburst! Of course i looked up the verse so i could write it out. It was a beautiful reminder as i go through some health challenges. I don't have children, but i do have a niece and nephew! There is much of me in my niece, it gives me great joy to see it, as she develops into a beautiful compassionate young lady. Day one definitely gave me a lot to think about as well as good insights. On to day two. Thanks for this!
This is wonderful! I cried a little bit in my Bible Study time today too! I'm on week three. This is a lovely way to connect with the Lord. And I appreciate the message the Lord put on your heart, that he's the light!♥
I have a very hard time remembering that our Father does love me because of all the mistakes I've made and still make, I'm very impatient, I get angry, I want to vent, it's a constant struggle. I am enjoying this study so far, we do need to remember that God loves us very much, and we need to be kind to ourselves. I want to be more like him, and have fruits of the spirit, I just want peace and Shalom. Thank you sherry for taking time out of your day to do this❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing from your heart, Christal. We all have weaknesses, don't we? It can be something that is different from person to person. My weaknesses remind me that I am need of a Savior. And he's still working on me! I pray he will use this study to strengthen us and remind us that we are his....and he has a good plan for us.♥

Since I was not able to have children i really could not answer the one question but instead i wrote a prayer "dear heavenly father thank you for creating me in your image. Thank you for the things that are unique to me, because these are the things that make me beautiful, and lord as i go through my day and self doubt creeps in help me to remember that i am your creation, beautifully, wonderfully and fearfully made Amen

I love what you said about the Holy Spirit - He does not condemn us but He leads us, guides us, directs our paths and shine the light on things in our lives that we may need to change. We are enough for the Holy Spirit, part of the Triune God, to take the time, as daughters of The King, to chart our way in this earthly life. That was my take-a-way from your words tonight. 'I AM' enough. This phrase speaks out to me that 'I AM' represents Jesus. And Jesus is the For-runner Accomplishing in me ALL that I personally am in need of. Praises.

Greetings Sherry! This study is so good for me because I was not taught that God has a positive attitude towards me. I've always had a pervasive feeling of guilt and shame, and I thought this was the Holy Spirit. So these feelings have been difficult for me to overcome. For how I am created in God's image: I am creative, he gave me the ability to reason, a sense of morality, the ability to communicate and form loving relationships. I want to use these abilities to His Glory!

Looking forward to a new adventure in the life that God has planned for me. I am in the final stages of life with health care issues. I feel strongly that I have more to do for God.
I plan to order the study I am enough for God to use even if I am in my 80 ies. So I really enjoyed the first lesson.

Hello, I have an 80 year old friend who walks the neighborhood daily.I am 1 of many who have been blessed by her words of wisdom from the bible and big heart for God.Yes God uses us at all ages to do His will and share Jesus.

I just did day one today, I feel that in order to be the person that God wants me to be I need to spend more time with Him, in His word and in prayer, this Bible study should help with that!

This is a wonderful study. Jesus is showing me He loves me unconditionally. I worry, I am anxious, I am angry...but God keeps loving me. I came across your video on The Prayer of Two Cups. I wrote it out and pray it in the mornings. Thank you for that prayer and for this study.

I am enough for God to use Amen I needed to hear that today because some days I don't feel like I am enough but I can't go by feelings I have to go by faith and to keep stepping forward.

Thank you, I needed these words today. To your point on how busy we all are, I think God knew our nature. “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” This is not a helpful suggestion, but what he commands us to do. He gave us this time each week to rest in him.
10 simple commandments yet that one so overlooked.

Growing up we moved a lot because of Dads work,but mom always found us a nice church. When ioved out on my own, my manager and his wife invited me to their church and i loved it!
Then i moved farther and tried vhurches of my coworkers but never felt like they were a good fit.
One day i was getting my hair cut and talking to the gal cutting my hair that i was looking for a church and in the next chair the pastor of a church in that community was getting his hair cut and invited me to his church. I went and i loved it. Ive been there 23 years.
Im so grateful.

I just got the book on Monday and did day one last night. The ask Jesus part was difficult, but God so wants us to see ourselves the way he sees us. He is so pleased with his handiwork and I feel like it grieves him when we talk badly about ourselves just way we feel badly when our children talk badly about themselves. It really made me think that I don’t want to make my Heavenly Father sad! Looking forward to doing this study with y’all!

I love this book, we are made in Gods image a Holy God that no one can look at Moses had to turn his face and take off his shoes to walk on the ground where God was he is so Holy, and he created us Male and female in his image. For a long time I was taught that saying “I am enough” was a big no-no. That that was prideful and not good. Thankfully the Lord brought me out of that teaching. I really enjoyed this video. I love your insight and your sharing. I love the NLT! Some point out that it was written for a fourth grade level, and I say praise God for that! Because that’s how I need to be spoken to, to learn! I loved hearing that you are a flip flop girl because I am known for that myself! 💜

This going to be a wonderful Bible study, and I did the first study today, and the way I answered the one question about how to I think look and act like Christ, will all I could put down was I want my actions, thoughts, and. Words to be more like Christ. I can’t claim to be prefect, it’s only by leaning on the Lord that I can live a life that pleases Him. Also this study goes along with another online Bible study that I am doing out of Leesburg Virginia, it’s done over zoom, and we are going through Colossians. We start out by meeting live on RUclips where there is music and teaching from the word. Then we break into small groups rather in person or online. I am not from Virginia. In our small group they have talked about that very thing I am enough one Lady will question rather she is enough but then she will remind herself that she is enough in the Lord. The verses that stood out to me in the first chapter of Colossians was in 1: 9-10 about asking for wisdom for God’s will, also that we walk worthy of the Lord, that means to me that we live a life pleasing to the Lord, and do His will His way.

The reason I wanted this one is I am working on putting together a new/ baby Christian mom’s group. Most younger people in the states don’t know anything about the Bible. This study is user friendly and ( I hope) will make young busy moms feel encouraged. I want them to feel comfortable and invited and encouraged about Gods love for them. You can dig deeper on your own baby reading the whole chapter. I also think “coloring” is such a great destressor ( made up word). Studies show how good coloring is for you. 💙💜💚🙏
Absolutely, Karen! Anything that causes us to read God's Word, ponder on it, pray, and spend time with the Lord, is a great tool! Praying the young Christian mom's group will be blessed by this study. ♥
A beautiful video. It's a shame that too many don't pay attentiontion. Knowing who we are IN Christ is of paramount importance, for we are new creations in Christ Jesus and we need to renew our mind to this awesome truth.

Yes it is very hard to stop and think about the questions that are asked of us. The question about how does it make you feel when your children act like you? It is a true blessing when you see the positive images of yourself but it is a bit hard to see when they act like you when it is not one of your better qualities!😀

It seems when God puts something on our hearts he wants us to do there is always negativity from people that just pulls you down. Keep doing what God wants you to do 😊.I'm excited about this study. This is the first time I've seen a coloring Bible study I think it's awesome. It is hard to say something good about yourself we are our own worse critics we don't see ourselves as pretty or good at something. I think this study will help loosen the rusty bolts and screws and teach us that we need to let loose of those things and take some time for ourselves and enjoy me time. Sherry thank you for all of these wonderful videos and Facebook posts you do they are an inspiration. I am a country girl and all the antiques and old barns and houses takes me back to some good ole times ❤🦋

Hi Maria! In the Ask Jesus section, I do a lot of asking and then sitting still and letting my mind focus on any thoughts the Lord brings into my mind. It can be a challenge to clear my mind somedays. I am recognizing now that I haven't been taking enough time in my regular Bible readings to just be still and let the Lord show me things when I am studying. I tend to keep moving to what's next.

Ive been overweight most of my life and like most people ive tried to take off the weight. Ive even lost alot of weight and then for what ever reason pur it back on, but what i had a hard time with was, that God didnt want me to be overweight, he didn't make people overweight. BUT IF YOUR OVERWEIGHT HE LOVES YOU!!!!
Lots of people struggle with their weight...or with some other physical challenge. I've had my own battles with this. But the Scriptures tell us that while man focuses on the outside of a person, the Lord focuses on the heart. (1 Samuel 16: 7)
I think our goal should be to take care of ourselves the best we can, in all areas of life. This means physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally. Some will struggle in one or two areas more than another. But the Lord understands what we are facing. And he is always here for us, with a heart full of love.♥

I really thought this was going to be a very simple Bible study but I have been very surprised to find that the questions really have me reflecting profoundly on the Scripture! Hi Sherry, totally enjoyed the first episode. Day 1 completed today. Great reminder for me that “God saw ALL he had made and it was VERY GOOD.” This brought a huge smile to my face. I am good stuff. LOL. My notes were that we need to remember that we must represent the Lord in a positive way. Strive to be more Christ like. Know that others are looking at us as followers of Jesus Christ. However, with that said not to beat ourselves up when we fall short.
I loved the episode but yes maybe in the future consider a zoom where we can see each other and either respond live or via the zoom chat in real time to feel more connected. Just a suggestion. The Prime RUclips is also a good option. ❤. Again thx for a great episode. Love how you teach. Easy to follow along. A true blessing. ❤

I use King James version Bible in church and at home. I have been leaning a little bit on the ESV because I like how clear it is.
Hi Zelda! I grew up with the KJV and it's a steadfast, traditional translation. But I truly fell in love with God's Word when I read the NLT. The language was much more meaningful to me. The ESV is an excellent translation too. In my studies, I make it a habit to read several translations and it broadens my understanding. Just this week, for example, I was reading a verse in the NLT and decided to look it up in the New King James. I actually liked the New King James better because, as you say, the meaning felt clear.
