I’m not sure 🙃 this was my first time in Cayo coco and it was winter. it was cold by the water 3 of the evenings we were there. It was a little windy at the beach during the day but it was warm wind. Does that help answer your question? Can anyone offer more insight?
@@KristaShea Thank you! We are " ocean people" and its very important for us to have nice , sandy, calm beach with turcoyse water! 2 month ago we were in Memories Caribe and the beach there was just amazing! Planning another trip in November but would love to explore new place this time !
How far back is the deep blue water? It looks deep blue very near the shore..can someone who's 5'4 stand comfortably in the turquoise water up to my chest?
Oh I see, was the turquoise/ clear water deep enough to reach your chest? The turquoise /clear water looks so shallow... I prefer clear blue water and see that the ocean gets dark very quickly ... Would appreciate your feedback, thanks!
@@deniseh4712it seemed like a gradual decline into the water, I don’t think there was a steep drop off or anything 😊 I don’t go in too far though, myself 🐠🦈🌊
Hi Jeff! I loved both 🏖️☀️🌊 The beach at Melia Cayo Coco was better than the beach at Bahia Principe, Mexico The food at Bahia Principe was better than the food at the Melia Cayo coco. At Sian Ka’an, Bahia Principe we had access to 3 other resorts so there was always ‘stuff’ going on, then we could come back to the quieter adults only part, Sian Ka’an

🇨🇦🙋♀️would you recommend this resort, lots of walking?? Was in Varedero last Oct, resort to big "Memories"
Hello!
You could request a room by the pool which is central to the beach, lobby and restaurant.
Is it always windy on the beach down there? Ocean looks very wavy.

Beautiful. I hear Cayo Coco has lots of mosquitoes. Is that true?
Its a tropical country. Bring mosquito cream/spray that keeps them away. Mosquito only comes out from late evening to early morning.
Hi Doug! We did not see any mosquitoes when we were there
How was the Melia , Cayo Coco compared to the Sian Kaan?
