The comedy reminds me of early AI Go attempts (since I was too young for the AI Chess), where there was clearly an "understanding", but still at a pre-novice level. Mastering it came quite quickly.
However, while many people play chess against AI, they also play against friends, due to the social nature. Even if AI masters comedy, art, TV shows, etc... we will still look to other humans for their work as well. As an example, there are loads of master artists out there, but when I found out one of my guild mates in a game were starting to get into opening commissions, I commissioned *them* for me character art. Even if capitalism finally disappears, and survival is not held hostage for labor ransom, then I would still choose my guild mate rather than getting free art from a master artist. I would also have a lot of master artist work as well, but they'd be more in line with inspiring AI art rather than the social connection of a friends work.

Not worried about ai or robots taking my job. Custodian and event center staff has such specific motions and actions cleaning and decorating and setting up events.

That “transphobic” joke still reads more like an ironic joke a trans person would make at the expense of transphobic comedians than a joke a transphobe would make.

Robotic and or machinated does not mean intelligent, so are all AI non-intelligent these days?
I guess it largely depends on how broadly you define AI, I'd classify it more as prompted Intelligence or virtual intelligence. Since they aren't really self thinking programs.
