  • One of the biggest nightmares for any guy is a trauma or a disease affecting his penis. And maybe none of the potential problems is so frightening as penile cancer.
    This rare type of cancer, unfortunately is on the rise. Over the last 30 years its numbers increased by more than 20%. Therefore it is very important you that you are able to recognize it, so treatment in an early stage can be started.
    That is where this video comes in. We will cover how penis cancer is caused, what symptoms it can cause and how to possible prevent and treat it.

    Types of penile cancer:
    So, in penile cancer cells inside the penis or cells of the skin of the penis start to grow uncontrollably. Depending on the specific cell which is affected a different type of cancer can occur:
    - 95% of all cases of penile cancer come from squamous cells.
    - Other types of penile cancer include melanomas (which comes from melanocytes. These produce the pigment, which colors your skin), Sarcomas (which comes from tissue like blood vessels, fat and muscle), and Basal cell carcinomas.
    What are the risk factors:
    - Being infected with HPV or HIV.
    - Being affected by phimosis.
    - Not being circumcised.
    In addition other risk factors are; smoking, being 60 years or older, having a weakened immune system, lack of personal hygiene, a low socioeconomic status, varying bed partners, overexposure to UV radiation, obesity and Lichen sclerosis.
    Symptoms of penile cancer:
    - By far the most common symptoms are changes to the skin of the penis; A rash, swelling or a crusty bump which looks like a unhealed scab or sore might occur.
    - Also look for changes in the thickness or color. Where a bluish-brown color may appear.
    - Furthermore, you might develop a bad-smelling discharge underneath your foreskin
    - And lumps under the skin of your groin.
    Here it is important to mention that these signs are a-specific. This means they can also occur when you have an infection or an allergic reaction. But it’s important to better be safe than sorry.
    Potential treatment options:
    - Medication
    - Cryotherapy
    - Several types of surgery.
    - Radiation
    - Chemotherapy

    I believe that there ought to be more education regarding penile cancer. It is not brought up enough for men to be extra cautious. Most men don’t know that the discolorations of the skin on the penis can very well be penile cancer.

    well sir I feel pain in my nut and I peed alot but when peeing i feel no pain i don't know what is the actual symtom.
