Listen, I’ve got all the platinum relics for the flashback tapes. I’ve got every other gem and collectible. But THIS level is the most frustratingly difficult level in the game for the cortex part alone

I have been looking for a decent crash walkthrough for this level just for getting the gem for finishing the level with no more than 3 deaths and i was having a hard time with it untill i found this. I've finally manage to get all the Perfection Relics on each level. Man Certain levels like Crash landed, Toxic tunnels, Cortex Castle and seeing double took like approximately 3 or 4 hours. pretty much all levels took a lot of reflexes and timing your moves man. Its best to take a break from the game if you finish a really tough level like cortex castle and seeing double.
Great video. I love how you post the button combos too. I just beat cortex castle this morning after several hundred deaths. Thought seeing double would be easier but i got stuck at the last part before it replay cortex castle again. Now i know you have to replay the whole castle end sequence again i think i'll quit while i'm ahead. As no way i can replicate that again. My timing and reflexes are just not fast enough.
I’ve died on the cortex section many times. Somehow I make the jump and idk what happens I don’t make it even when I make it. BS fuck the time trials that’s going to be HELL
This level wasn’t that bad once I managed to get the laser dash areas down. Though any little thing at this point will anger me. Only have two levels left to do with dingo and the second level at the beginning.
@@inim6210 God knows I had plenty of attempts to do so & got the N. Sanely Perfect Relic to prove it, & it's still in my top 5 worst list. I will AT LEAST say the mask gauntlet here is a bit better than in basic Cortex Castle, but that's about it
I'm getting kinda emotional feeling that this is the last time I will have to do a perfect relic and see your Crash 4 guides, I almost got used to doing those that it's gonna feel weird when I stop, it's been 23 days that it took me to do them, thanks for helping me and many others on this journey of n sanity!! I’m late to playing this game as I just started a week or so ago, but I FINALLY got all the N. Sanely Perfect Relics! This was the last one. By FAR the hardest thing I’ve ever done in a video game, and I’ve been gaming for 25 years 😂 The things they ask you to do are sometimes absurdly difficult. This video was a lifesaver. Thank you so much for this one and all your other ones! I can’t believe for the N. Sanely Perfect Relic, they want you to beat the level flawlessly without giving you a SINGLE Aku mask. They are out of their damn minds. I did it, but it took like 3-4 hours… But with this, I FINALLY got all the perfect relics out of the way. On any normal game, just that feat itself would be enough, heck more than enough, but I still have the soul-crushingly difficult platinum time trials to do now… They will be just as hard (if not even harder) than the N. Sanely Perfect Relics, but I know that I can do it since I conquered the perfect relics. Still, why couldn’t they keep tradition and just stick with clear gold relics? :😢 Anyway, your videos are superb and very helpful! Sub earned! Next is going through inverted levels and then platinum time trials. Wish me luck… I know I can do this!!!
@@supesrebirth152 i found the platinum relics harder because for the nsane one you can take your time. Time trials are very restrictive so I recommend to look for gameplays for tips and tricks
I much prefer just crouch jumping up from the TNT to get those high up boxes as opposed to jumping onto and riding the laser. I die way too often trying that when there's no need if you are fast enough.
I’m going to be honest once you play it you can do it I went in thinking I would be stuck then 100% everything besides the death gem and flashback only took me maybe 5 or 6 tries but the first play through really helps for practicing
I feel like such an idiot because at 1:36 you shoot the nitro instead of trying to precisely jump and dart underneath it which is what I’ve been trying to do. Why didn’t I think of shooting it. Ugh! 😣
I could not for the life of me wrap my brain around all the masks switching. I still cant grasp the upside down mask, no matter how fast I try to switch from upside down to right side up, I end up hitting the lasers. The super tornado mask also trips me up because the controls in general are so wonky (imo). This game isnt fun imo. Crash is my favorite game & was my childhood, I feel like Toys For Bob completely ruined it for me. The worst part is, ppl on YT make it look so easy. The death counter on my game makes me feel like an absolute failure. Like I'm being mocked. I just did not like this game & I only continued to played it because my daughter wants to beat it (but shes slightly worse at the game than I am.) & I cant say no to her, even though I get so upset with every death.
The way I play is practice a level obtaining all gems, then I perfect it, but usually I take long breaks playing some calmer games (like ACNL or sims) and tbh I’ve enjoyed this game sooo much
I love crash, but crash 4 is horrible. Instead of simple but charming, they went dark souls, souless, broken and unfair. Getting 100% was NEVER that hard. Challenge is good but toys for Bob doesnt know what balance is.
I grew up playing SNES platformers, so I'm just used to it. The original PlayStation controller didn't have analogue sticks, either. So I played crash 1 and 2 without them.

That cortex section is so stupid hard. Cortex controls are just garbage and the whole platform timing is just way off.
I like the idea behind cortex's gameplay, but it just feels so inconsistent..

@Loganitenite50 cortex castle is the hardest of them all. It took me 3 hours to complete.

I found the cortex section pretty easy. My problem was landing on the damn laser grid to get the floating tnt and normal crate 💀

At the end I have 118 crates but when I hit the Exclamation I only have 126. I have no idea why I cant find out anywhere. Does anyone know?

I’m kinda in there for ya but not the whole way, I don’t feel like the game is ruined, maybe you just need to practice some more and take a break
