I ended up finding a "fox fire" dw-6600 on an American goodwill(thrift store)online auction. Turned out to have never been used and had backlite screen cover for "NHK World" the Japanese television network so im 100% sure it was a JDM watch. My guess is back in the 90's some american TV personal did some work for the NHK network and was gifted the watch who's technology was brand new. Then this person brought the watch home and put it in a drawer till I got it

This is the best 6900 series in my opinion.. I like the OG style of this model plus the yellow background makes the display pop..

I have this dw6900b fox fire since 2017 and im still using now but the strap is replacement
This has been replaced by the DW6900UB-9JF with a more battery efficient LED backlight.
Yes and that increases the battery life from 2 years to 5 years. 👍🏼
This DW6900 B-9 foxfire Japanese home market , does look a little better than the standard DW6900 lol 😂 I own both versions so I am good

It’s sad how the solar GW6900 doesn’t show the time when using stopwatch. I go to gym a lot so it would be handy. I have a gd350 for the gym
