On very rare occasions you’ll see a Muni coach with “Police Service” or “Police shuttle” on it - namely at parades where they need to move a whole platoon of cops to the parade route from Mission Bay. I wonder if that headsign has an audio announcement too…
By the way, I was always interested to know WHO the voice of most of the route announcements is. We only know the female voices (Donna Reed and Erica Kato) but apparently nobody knows who the male voices of MUNI are. That's sad :(

It would have been nice if we were able to hear the old rapid announcements from 2015. I liked them better than the new ones.

I finally found out who was the voice of the MUNI Metro route announcements on Siemens and Bredas - a now-retired transit operator Douglas Griggs!
