I wasn't familiar with this tune so I went and watched a live version with Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill and Albert Lee. Very cool. I'll definitely learn this one.
How about Snake Drive from Guitar Boogie album? Clapton, Page and Beck all together! That is an awesome slow blues that I would love to know how to play!!
I normally don't go out of my way to tell people this, but I'm from Tulsa. . .and it's kind of surreal to hear Justin mention my rather obscure hometown.
This would probably be fun to transition straight into Stay With Me either with a key change to A or just staying in G. You could just keep that same loose bouncy shuffle.
Watching old video of Don Williams performing on Austin City Limits. He also throws in some those random upstrokes. Also like you say, he’s not mathematically perfect.
Do you see a slide no? You don't have to play with the side you don't feel comfortable sliding you can play it this way otherwise take a look on RUclips there's plenty of other videos with the slide 🙃

Great points at the end of the video about the distinction between mathematical, computer-like perfection, and finding the right groove/vibe.
Cheers! :) J

I know what I'm doing for lunch break today.
What guitar is that?
It's a custom one made by Gray Guitars (London), see ruclips.net/video/2Bsv1r64BK0/видео.html .
Thormodo nice thank you man!
Great job and Happy Holidays- The twelfth fret is marked rather oddly unless they’ve changed 12 in Roman Numerals from XII to VIVI- Lol
Vivi the shortform of Vivian. It"s the Name of Justin's daughter
