Colin George-Babb I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant that would be the reaction to the guy if they made a modern version of Get Christie Love. I’m not sure if it’s being remade, but I wouldn’t be surprised given Hollywood’s lack of originality.
one of the best lines in tv history. I remembered it from the first airing. The 70s were awesome.

I loved Christie Love as a kid and I was LITTLE - and I can't believe this is the magic dialogue I was listening to every week. Thank you, thank you! This show really had an impact on my writing later in life. They don't make 'em like they used to sadly.

Definitely underated....her show was on in the 70's --same time as the blaxplotation movie craze, so I guess ABC wanted to capitalize on this...a beautiful sex symbol who tragically perished in a house fire in 2002 which I read about a year or so ago.

I liked watching Christie Love, as a woman, it was good to see a her in that role. Tough and using a lot of one liners that were witty. When stars started out many of them had a lot to learn abt acting but experience is the key. Sorry to hear of her death and the way she died.
