This man PLO Lumumba, is really a genius, i have never seen him reffer to any notes, and after the speach, he will give notes of what he is saying. When he is called to preach in church, you don't see him with a Bible, and he will qoutes the various books in the Bible from his head. Amazing, cant believe our country Kenya don't make us him to sell our country

Thanks Professor PLO Lumumba for your holistic definition of Pan Africanism. Many people define Pan Africanism from the political perspective only leaving the economic and social aspects. But in this lecture you asked why is that only foreign accounting firms like Coopers and not local accounting firm audit our accounts in Africa. And socially in Africa a man can marry as many wives as he like yet in court we try such men on English law that encourages one man one wife

@Prof Lumumba, thank you for an interesting lecture. I think it’s erroneous to attribute the concept of Ubuntu solely to South Africa and limit it to the Xhosa and Zulu. That concept has existed in parts of Africa for eons and defined our conduct and perception of life. The same concept is called Ubuntu among the Ndebele in Zimbabwe and Hunhu among Shona speakers. While I appreciate that the concept is not universal across Africa, it is important to acknowledge its existence in other parts of continent and how it has been instrumental in ensuring a common set of values across cultures.

We Africans should endeavour not to keep blaming Europeans for everything. We should understand that everyone wants the best for himself. Even among us we have had and still have all kinds of vices and injustices. Our ancestors killed innocent twin babies for centuries in the name of traditional belief. The European missionaries came and stopped it. There were a lot of insecurity as tribal wars and human sacrifices were prevalent .
Let’s draw a balance by also appreciating them in the positive areas they helped us. And let’s decide on the way toward and not always dwelling on the past .
There’s no way we or they can completely do without each other .

    • @NitaZeng
      @NitaZeng Год назад +2

Every Society has in fights, injustices and discrimination but that does not give foreigners to come and abuse US. Yes we have our own faults but for a foreigner to come and play around with your people is a no no.
You are rejecting what they themselves, the West is acknowledging and feeling sorry for what was done by their ancestors. It's in their books in higher education.
If you learn about psychology,. psychotherapy, Health Studies these things are discussed on the effects of Colonisation and Slavery.
And many Africans across the Continent and those in America and the Islands are all carrying generational trauma.
When you refuse that you were harmed you prolong your healing time.
You raised some important points though on moving forward. But we have to look back first, acknowledge harm, heal then move forward.
And again our healing is difficult because of perpetual discrimination and I'll treatment of black people by the offsprings of those who enslaved us.

It is not true that Africans were killing twin babies to sacrifice them to our Gods. This shows that you are still not emancipated from mental slavery. White people are evil and liars going by their behaviors in history. This cannot be denied. You may not like but it is the truth. You are not free. Read books written by chinua Achebe.

I recently learned of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus song: "A Message From The Gay Community (2021) on RUclips. What a shock!
If the younger South African guy (Malema) wears a gay flag in public AND supports gay activities, HOW is he going to support the positive moral values of OUR ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD and the African countries and diaspora?
Does the Professor Lumumba know about his allegiance to the alphabet groups? The professor WAS AGAINST forcing negative western gay cultural values on the motherland.
Hard to believe that Malema has crossed over to the opposite of OUR ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD'S values.
Has Malema been (allegedly) threatened, BOUGHT OUT or blackmailed?
Does he HAVE children to protect?

Nice speech. However, my research, observation, and conclusion are the same as those written by the Prophet Isaiah 8:20-22. "Instead, they should inquire of the law and of the written confirmation! When they do not speak according to this word, they have no light.21 And each one will pass through the land afflicted and hungry; and because he is hungry and indignant, he will curse his king and his God as he looks upward.22 Then he will look to the earth and see only distress and darkness, obscurity and hard times, gloom and no brightness.
Until we Africans awaken to our true origin in the books, we will continue to see nothing but distress and darkness, etc. in our land. Our enemies will continue to miseducate us and mislead us.
Until the son of God sent for you sets us free, then will you Africans- Israel's true descendants be free. We must return to seeking and calling on the name of Yahuwah as our God so that we can be saved (Acts 2:21). You believe it or not.
