Thanks johnnyb! You know I still got that Beowulf ounce you won in the giveaway with your name on it. Just tell me where to send it! Emperorwang0861@yahoo.com
Howzit! That is one great looking bar! I agree with your theory. I have no bars like that. I have concentrated on American Eagles on my journey. I do, however, think that you will have no problem selling that bar. I think that the BIG money stackers will be hoarding kilos of Ag. I am still vacillating on whether to turn my awkward sized bars and kilo coins into a more compact version of silver or convert them to 24k gold. I am a victim of paralysis by analysis sometimes, though. lol. Those Texas folks are pretty cool, yeah? Perhaps you are going to the November Coin Show in town? I am very curious to see what it will be like. It would be my first coin show that I can remember. TYVM for your take on the metals market, and your local knowledge.
Very nice bar, I’m not so into kilo size I prefer 10 ounce bars but if I were to get a kilo bar, it would be one from Switzerland. Probably a Pamp Suisse though
Replace bonds with silver coins, now that's an idea! Isn't it fasniating the journey each of us takes to get here. Sounds like you are not big on the bars, I'm not either. I went with a monster box of American 1 oz silver eagles a few years ago. Then a gold Buffalo every year, but then found medal collecting to be so much more satisfying to me. I wondered about the same thing, selling those silver bars could be a problem. Just because it is stamped with something, doesn't make it trustworthy, at least to me. Thanks for sharing!
To each their own. I couldn't disagree more with you. Im not sure your location but around me i have at least 4 shops that would buy bars in a heartbeat. Even the 1 kilo size. First off not all bars are the same just like not all coins are the same. And not all opinions are the same. 5 and 10 oz silver bars are very liquid and rarely counterfeit. You need to find a different LCS if your current one won't buy that back. Thank you for sharing your opinion.
I would like to buy the bar from you
@@stevenschafer5981 I've decided to hold on to it a little longer. But thank you
@stevenschafer5981 $1k plus shipping isn't to bad that's for sure. Not sure why a coin shop wouldn't want it.
Very nice 🥈👌

@emperorwang0861 has been a rough week for the stack the price of metals going up.
It was HK$5,500.00 a few years ago
Now is HK$9,300.00
The premium is high in Hong Kong
