Anywhere I can throw a line, grew up in Opa- Locka, I could ride my bicycle to the edge of the Everglades, walk along canals, fish, Best times Thank you!
Good afternoon Brian. It was a pleasure meeting you in person this morning at the wall. I work in that area for the state park and I fish that area often. My brother and I just started night fishing for sharks from the beach. It is a great area to fish with many different approaches to fish given all the variety of species available there. I was watching your content and learned a lot about that area before I was working there. Keep up the great work and let me know if you ever have any questions or if you ever want to fish with us. Again it was a pleasure meeting you.
Hey Matt thanks for dropping in. You've got a great job getting to hang out at that park all day. definitely let me know if you guys get on some good fish also anytime you see the fishing hot shoot me an email or comment. especially if the shephead or pompano get fired up. I hear there's a guy who night fishes thee for monster snook off the beach all the time as well.
@ Good afternoon sir, I apologize for the delay as I just saw your question. The seawall is still down. They are making great progress at the main park but there is still not an expected opening date set. The amount of sand that is being shifted and cleaned and placed back on the beach is unbelievable. I will keep you posted sir.
@ Thank you sir. I went down to Stump Pass last week and saw Englewood beach and that entire area is pretty rough. We will get things back to beautiful it just takes a lot of workers, equipment and time. I sure miss being able to beach fish. Keep up the great work and have a great weekend.
Beautiful water.
