Having lived in North Cyprus for two years as an American, I can say it was a challenging experience, and not always in a good way. There are some serious issues that really affect daily life, and I wish someone had given me a clear picture before I made the move. I’ll be sharing the pros and cons in more detail in an upcoming RUclips video, but here’s a quick summary. One of the biggest frustrations is the lack of consistent access to essentials: water, electricity, and reliable internet. Outages are frequent, and the quality is a far cry from what you’d expect in the U.S. Dealing with immigration is another story entirely-think of it as a comedy of errors where nothing goes as planned. If I had enough patience, I could write an entire (humorous) book on those adventures alone. Real estate is another eye-opener. When you buy something, it’s more like a time-share than real ownership because reselling is nearly impossible, so it’s yours for as long as you’re there, but with limited flexibility. And if you love to shop or unwind at a mall, you’ll be disappointed. Rules and regulations feel almost non-existent or change without notice, making you truly appreciate the stability and order back in the States. North Cyprus does have some beauty and charm, but overall, if you’re considering moving here, make sure you’re prepared for these challenges. It’s not for everyone, and you might find yourself feeling disappointed.

The occupying territories are not recognize by any Country except Turkey, Let me give you a simple example, like now a Russia property agent is trying to sell to any European client property in Crimea or Donbas region !!
You are wrong, Northern Cyprus cannot be compared to Russian aggression. Northern Cyprus has been a separate state for almost 50 years. And in the near future the UN will consider the issue of its recognition. And most importantly, all the real estate we sell has a land title. This means that the land before secession either belonged to a Turkish Cypriot or was exchanged with a Greek Cypriot for land on the southern part of the island. These documents are recognized by the international court.
Northern Cyprus is not a separate state, is an occupying area of the republic of Cyprus by the Turkish army, the only recognize state by the UN, the international community and European Union is the republic of Cyprus, the real estate you sell in order to be legal should be under the registry of the official land registry of the Republic of Cyprus and not any other entity, if the owner ship from a Greek Cypriot already passed to a new owner should be registered again with the land registry of the ROC. And why don't you tell people those who buy properties in the South are not given title deeds. They just take their money and the Purchasers don't own the land. Tell them also how ROC sells passports to criminals.

The flight from Ercan to Istanbul takes about an hour and a half not less than an hour and it adds a considerable load when you want to travel. @@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATE to be fair, the north is an unrecognised state and is supported entirely by ONLY Turkey economically and legally, the reason is because recognising its independence goes against international law of invading a state. @@andrigeogiou8420 when you try to commit genocide against the Turkish Cypriots so that you can unite Cyprus with Greece you have to accept the consequences. TCs are now free in the North Cyprus under the protection of Turkey and no longer fear for their lives.
Would it suit me African.
I love the way the account handlers respond to every comment 😂😂😂some mfs a just dumb but she still responds
This lady is GREEK and her aimnis ti show NORTH CYPRUS in a bad kight but to ne she sounded oathetic and made a mess of it because just kisten to her cimments so obvious trying to promote the South
No, you're wrong. She is not Greek and lives in the Northern part of the island.
In this video we just wanted to show that even such an ideal place as Northern Cyprus also has its drawbacks.
East European/Russian.
This question is going to seem stupid but im very serious and i need a truthful answer! How do they treat black people, particularly black men?
Northern Cyprus is a multicultural country, it is difficult to encounter any discrimination here
Its not multi culture, greek Cypriots bouses have been stolen.
OCCUPIED CYPRUS. Are you not embarrassed to sell illegally occupied land?
We only sell properties built on legal land!
So do you guarantee that all real estates you're selling are all pre 1974 Turkish title deeds?? You sure?
@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATE
You are giving plenty of inaccurate information first having a schengen visa does not guarantee anyone to cross the south across the green line. The flight from Ercan to Istanbul takes about an hour and a half not less than an hour and it adds a considerable load when you want to travel. I don't want to make any further comments about the properties you're selling but I would love to believe that they are all pre 1974 Turkish title deed properties and from some of the pictures of seen in the video they are not
They are busy getting rich quick. It’s all a scam. TRNC is like the Congo…
Not my cup of tea, I would not like it.
Why? )
It is not part of EEC and too many differences.@@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATE
Don't move to unrecognized "grey" territory. Point. Period. Paragraph.
Why did you decide that this is "gray" territory?
@@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATEit's an occupied illegal territory that nobody recognises
@@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATE to be fair, the north is an unrecognised state and is supported entirely by ONLY Turkey economically and legally, the reason is because recognising its independence goes against international law of invading a state. The Turks created a client state but really the way it functions is as an extension of the province Mersin, Turkey. Crazy huh.
@Alpha-gk6hd how are black ppl treated there? You seemed well informed on the issue region which is why I asked.
"not functional at all" lol
There is NO COUNTRY OF NORTHERN CYPRUS
Northern Cyprus has been a separate country for almost half a century
According to you NOT TO INTERNATIONAL LAW.
You call an illegal occupation a country. YOU ARE MARKETING STOLEN PROPERTY. What passport do you have show us.
If you intend to travel to Cyprus, you should be aware that the so-called "trnC", the secessionist entity unilaterally declared by the occupation regime, has been condemned and declared illegal and invalid by the International Community through United Nations Security Council Resolutions 541/83 and 550/84.
It's a country whether you like it or not and will still be there in 50 years
Nord Cyprus is like Erdogan mongolia
What a strange comparison. Do you live in Mongolia?
@@CYPRUS_LIFE_ESTATE i visit mongolia and menatlity , laguage are like turkey
You do not have a pretty accent
what do I have...
So where are the minuses that sounds brilliant, thanks.
Exactly!
