The show really lost an important part with Denim. He was brilliant. The successor was ok but a cheap copy compared to Denim. The show entirely lasted on the IT department after that and it was great but would have been much better with him.
On the other hand they were able to use Douglas in broader comical turns. Denholm wouldn't have worked out well in the episode where Douglas dates the transgender woman. Both Denholm and Douglas brought a huge amount for different reasons.
cannot think of a greater waste of potential than graham linehan throwing his career away just to harass and abuse women online. it sucks because he writes shows that are as funny as this.
