Hi! I found your channel trying to get some more information about CTSL, and your way of narration is so enjoyable! Keep recording! I would love to see a cross country flights with some more detail about land and history :)

Ah the plane I took lessons in! I don't know how popular the Sport licence is now. Funny you mention the wind, because I remember a two month stretch in the spring where I had more lessons cancelled then actually happened. As soon as we had a sustained 15+ kt....no go.

15+kt is very wind for any aircraft

Rotax is not originated from a car engine. It's derived from a snowmobile engine.

Nice video. I own the older version of this aircraft. In the real world, the negative flaps position is used to decrease the drag (and also bring less lift) in order to increase the cruise speed (20km/h). Note that it's mandatory over 160 km/h to avoid stress on flaps and ailerons.
It doesnt help reduce speed at all (like spoilers). Caution, the stall speed increase to 90km/h in this position (80km/h flaps 0, 70 flaps 15, 60 flaps 20 or full)

Did you try trimming after you set the flaps negative I believe thats necessary, but I'd have to read the POH again.

I always set to -12 flaps after takeoff, in my opinion it gets the plane more stable, i use the 0 flaps for takeoff only

To set the parking brake you must turn the switch AND then pull the lever...

The title and text suggest this is a CTLS. From my perspective this is a CT Super or CTSL.
