Omg i know you said you wouldn’t wear it over liquid foundation but would you mind doing that just for the heck of it! I’ve seen a lot claims regarding the powder foundation over liquid foundation got a full coverage look. I’m interested to see that mix for screen and pictures! Please ❤️

I just bought this this morning. I thoroughly enjoy it. I have just slightly oily skin, and rosacea redness. I only applied enough to even out my skin tone and used a setting spray... it held up for me well! I do think the spf i use helped in the same way a primer would, too.

Finally🙏 a👏real 👏oily 👏skin review!🥰 It contains 4 typ of silicons for "pore blur", often I have oil-problems wt. this kind of formulation in powders. Maybe that helps you.🙋🏻♀️
This is one I would definitely try out with a tinted moisturizer underneath.

That’s too bad. Most of Fenty products are good but I’m extremely oily so I’ll have to pass on this one. Thanks for your honesty! Ugh I hope they do adjust the formula and it’s something I can invest in later.
I always use foundations to set foundation and concealer and if it still looks a little dry after setting spray then I take a hydrating primer onto a slightly damp sponge and dab lightly over the areas

Ive 💗💗💗👌my Jcat Aquassurance for a year now as a workday nurse 😷PF, have oily/dehydrated skin, buf it in my skin with a dense ELF base brush, set it with a korean toner mister and 💯💓Boom! Its gr8 for me.
The appliction method is the key. Sponge is JUST for padding touch up.
I wanted to try this but I’m glad I saw this first! I would love to see what you think about the new elf foundation

I hardly ever use any powder, other than my Julep translucent powder(which I only use when I have A LOT of make up going on), because I’m combination + sensitive skin, and powders tend to screw with all of that. I stick to setting sprays. Even when I first started to play with make up as a pre teen and teen, I didn’t like using powders. I just haven’t found powder foundations that work with my skin. 😢
You should add at the end of the wear test to show what the foundation looks like after blotting. nobody actually goes throughout the entire day letting themselves get that oily. we all retouch or blot & I think adding what the foundation looks like after it’s all oily with blotting sheets or retouching would be good so we can see how it holds up with how most of us are actually going to use it🤷🏽♀️

I love this foundation, I really enjoyed the mattifying compact powder so I though I would love the formula. Embryolisse lait creme concentrée+ By Terry primer and a touch up with this foundation is really really nice. I'm not an oily skin but for normal type its really good and I wear all day long a mask on at work, this shiiiit survives 💙💙 hope you gave this baby a new chance 🙏

I don’t think the foundation had anything think to do with enhancing the flakiness. Even with liquid or cream there would be texture. Because your skin is physically peeling. Great review 😊
liquid foundation doesn't emphasize flakiness the way that powder does. I mentioned it because I didn't even know I was peeling haha
@@MaryamMaquillage side effect of retinol as you mentioned is flaky skin😊 any uneven texture will always be highlighted as it is no longer a smooth surface 😊 haha
@@simonewalters1864 absolutely! Just for reference, my liquid foundation that I applied earlier in the day did not emphasize the flakiness.

Oh NOOOO!!! 🥺 I was SO EXCITED to see this foundation and now I’m all kinds of WORRIED because I have both oily AND mature skin 😬 I will still give it a try, but hey the good news is that now I won’t be completely crushed if it doesn’t work for me, or thinking there is something wrong with me as opposed to the powder 🤷🏽♀️ I ALWAYS trust your opinion, Maryam!!! #TeamTruth 🔥
I think it will still work if you use it over something like a primer or tinted moisturizer
@@MaryamMaquillage I ALWAYS use primer. Even if I am not wearing ANYTHING. As Nikki Tutorials says, not to prime is a crime! (Or something like that 😂)

I want to try this power because I love the Mac Studio Fix powder foundation but damn Fenty has a confusing shade range. Definitely don’t feel comfortable ordering online so I’ll have to check out Sephora and hopefully they can match me with my mask on 😅 if anything I’ll just order your shade or use it as a reference point since my skin tone is very similar.
Such a good video! I love fenty so so much! I wish I could try all products for free and see which are good for me and which arent! I loved the matte foundation but the undertone was a hair off for me.

Try using different shades of the same foundation for concealer and bronze. That’s what I do, when use powder foundation

The Mac studio fix powder foundation is much more forgiving, even if your skin is dry :)
Omg please tell us your MAC Powder Fix Plus Foundation match. I us to use NC30 but wondered if NC25 would be better. It's been so long and I can't get to the store. Plus I hate ordering and having to return. It really bums me out :(
I think this powder foundation will be my last 2020 purchase. I've been using the last of my coupons/deals then that's it. 2021: Use up what you have!
Have you tested the loreal infallible 24 hr fresh wear powder foundation? I love the liquid foundation so was curious if the powder version was good or not.

In using this for setting makeup, how would you compare it to Charlotte Tilbury’s setting powder?
They don't compare really... Charlotte's is ideal for setting makeup because it's microfine and doesn't add heaviness (or pigment) to foundation. it only sets and perfects

each of the shades has a pretty accurate description online, so as long as you know your undertone and can more or less compare yourself to the model wearing the foundation, that's probably your best bet

shades and coverage are better, but it doesn't hold up nearly as well

I don’t think so, I like translucent powders to set my foundations. I’d probably wear it over a tinted primer like the essence one

I never like these powder foundations...I get as greasy as you did but way faster maybe like 3 h in....I always use them on top of liquid found...And yes I hate when they do cling to your dry spots...what's up with that??? So annoying 🙄. Anyway are you going to review the Gucci foundation????
