WELCOME BACK SIMON we missed you brother i love your anime style videos, you are a really amazing artist
Your tutorials are the best✨
THANK YOU!!!!! One of the few times the YT algorithm came in clutch. I was looking for a tutorial like this but initial search results were wack. Ended up going with a grease pencil drawing THIS once i found this, GOLD. Followed the steps, made it a VFX asset in the asset browser, and added it to blender file my project is in. Love the results.
This is hands down one of the best RUclipss around
Awesome, I was looking for something like this. Searching for a day, and couldn't find anything I liked. I was about to do particles or something else until I saw your video. Great tutorial, great video. 11/10 going to like this video and subscribe.
This worked perfectly! Thank you so much!
thank you so much, This was very helpful. I can use this in many ways
Amazing. I’ll definitely be making this. Thanks
Thanks, looks amazing.
Oh man you are totally different blender artist thank you for the making very unique toturials I subscribed your channel 😇🤗😇
great this tutorial to make my fire effects, and effects in general good job and good video
wow i'm late
great effect, it could even be an impact on the water if the colors are changed, I liked it a lot
nice one thanks for the tutorial
bruv u rly got me on that one
it was helpfull thank you bro. keep it up
Hey it's me Zero! Thanks for the shoutout and all the great tutorials!
You did great job there !
I thought it was a unity toturial because of the plane in the beginning lol, personally I would've used a driver to make it move besides that nice toturial. OH DAM I GOT MENTIONED AT THE END
hehe boi lets do this
thank you simon
thx sir🔥👍
- it was VERY helpful - thank you!! :^о
That's really cool! Btw, how can I create a endless checker pattern floor.. With the fog in the viewport? Is it just a massive plane with a custom shader? Thankyou :D
Maybe ill make short video, since sime people seem to be interested in it ^^
Same here! Waiting for a vid then :)
I didn't have time to wait, so I figured out something on my own:
1) Make a large plane
2) Add 'Checker Texture'
3) Mix in some noise to the Texture
4) Put the 'blend mode' to 'alpha blend'
5) Add a circular 'gradient texture', and plug into the alpha channel. Adjusting the color ramp to get the desired result
Tada!
Oh, and if the plane bothers in the viewport shading view, then under the shader tab, under 'viewport dispay', change the 'Color' Alpha to 0
Around where you started adding color I ran into the issue of the color sliders turning my flame completely black in some areas where did I go wrong 😫
What is the best way to make something like this a seamless loop?
I wonder.... Would it be posible to put a Latice modifyer on top of it so that you can make the fire mave a horizontal curve? And than add a driver to the latice so it would swong back and forth on the X axes?
Hmm thats an interesting idea to explore !! Make sure you share with me the results if you do, id really love to see that ^^
Inspiration tuts youtube channel showed your fire anime video
Yeah, ive seen that :D next milestone - make it i to Curtis Holt vid lol :D
Hi simon. I want to maje fire goes opposite direction. Cant find the option for change the axis direcction
it would be cool if you also mentioned the key you hit cause when it came to extending the fflame on the z axis, you suddenly had something selected without clicking anything and idk what tool your using. i slowed down the video and looks like your using the smoothing tool but it doesnt work for me. the way i found out is at the bottom it shows whar your pressing and it said ctrl 2
Ill keep that in mind and try to be more descriptive in the future ^^
I followed this exactly, and it is not flat on the bottom, it still has spikes coming out of it from all sides (although bigger on the correct side)
EDIT: It seems like the size of the sphere definitely matters for how this will work. Making the sphere bigger, then scaling back down in object made make it work like in the video.
guys anybody knows how to and if its possible to export this as glb file?
can we make this transparent and put a object inside so it shows that the effect is coming from the object itself
Thats pretty neat idea !!! Definetely possible. If you make it I'd love to see your result ^^
@@Simon3D I have been trying for a while now , sorry couldn't do it as I'm a beginner but maybe someday ill get it and will show you UwU any tips would be nice. love your work btw
Been having problem when rendering the animation. It glitches a bit in a few area and it’s always inside the fire. Any idea how to fix it or good setting to render the animation ?
What do you mean by glitching ? Dm me screenshots on Twitter and ill see if i can help :)
how its bake ?:D
M new to blender and I saw this, looks cool so I tried, but it's not working like the video, the bottom is not flat 🥲 what should I do?
did you follow all the steps? make sure the mesh has auto smoothing enabled, and that the normal edit modifier is set up properly, if you still have problem you can msg me on twitter and we will look for the solution there :)
@@Simon3D ok
It worked thank you so much bro, m loving it
