It certainly doesn't represent the cross that believers in Jesus Christ hold dear. As you already know I am sure, Christ holds up the cross in victory when depicted in Orthodoxy and Catholicism and brings our attention to the suffering, death, and ressurection of Christ.

M8 it's just like a 4 pointed cross but with another 4 points added on to it to make 8 points because scientologists know there's 8 dynamics of survival from self to infinity.
