    I love your dress hack. . I also love that you are fearless in trying things and showing the process of changing things if need be. This is the way most of us actually figure things out too. If it’s not perfect the first time… redo it. Love the puppy too. ❤️ Diann

    Very interesting and helpful video. I would have liked to see pictures of the two garments in the beginning so I would have better understood what you are joining together. Great dress. I love it!

    Love this hack but would really like one making the straps of the Vacation Romper thicker so it hides bra straps. Thanks in advance.

    I bought some clear elastic to do this gathering, but the elastic hardly stretched at all. Where can I get the elastic you used in this tutorial?

    Love your dress and it turned out well. The fabric being stretch but want to know the name of the fabric you used. Just love it and it would be cool for your summer too.

    What do you think about using a woven fabric for this hack? Or, does Ellie and Mac have a different pattern like this for wovens?

    • @EllieandMacPatternsLLC

      I haven't used woven fabric for the Chapman Cardigan but I have for this skirt. I think since the fit is oversized it might work. I would make a tester first but I think it would work!

    Did you make button holes or are the buttons keeping both sides together permanently?

    • @EllieandMacPatternsLLC
      @EllieandMacPatternsLLC  2 года назад

      I did faux buttons, I closed the front and just sewed the buttons on but you could do button holes if you would prefer ❤️

    Your first band didn’t fit because you cut it on lengthwise grain instead of crosswise. Most knits have great stretch only on crosswise. 💕
