LOVE your videos! Just discovered your channel and have been busy bingeing your older ones! I know you obviously work for E & M, but wish you had your own channel also so you could use big fours. I’m a very experienced sewist but still love your videos for your style and tips.
Super cute! Did you share the length of each layer? I picked up the calculation of the width, but I don't know if I heard the length. I already love the Curved Hem Tank pattern and this hack may be another summer staple.
Thank you so much for showing this!!! I have a dress almost exactly like that and have been looking for a pattern for 3 years. I'm so excited. Can you do the same thing with the T-Dress? I need to have sleeves for work. And the elastic trick is amazing.
A beautiful dress and thanks for the demo. I have tried working with the clear elastic but not sure I like using it. Used it for stabilizing shoulder hems for sewing seams together.
Love everything about the dress Dianna. The hack is great and the fabric is lovely, it really suits you. Thanks for the vlog. I just have a query. Whenever I try to use clear elastic it slips as I am sewing it and doesn’t stay in line with the fabric. That did not happen with you! Any suggestions please?
Hi love the dress. I went to the site for fabric and didn't see it. In fact the site was down you had to hit homepage at the bottom for a redirect. Help! Would love to get that fabric. Is it a jersey knit? Thx
great idea! I would grab a pattern similar in the shape to the top that you love then I would lay the main bodice over it to adjust the armcye of this pattern. That way you can use any sleeve you like ❤️
We no longer recommend the company due to some bad interactions with them. You can make your own magnetic mat and pattern weights. We have a video on how to do that.ruclips.net/video/JSdCn-OGEic/видео.html

Very 1920s with the drip waist, but also getting 1970s vibes with the print…overall, absolutely love the dress!!

How would you make the curved hem in a dress length? Just add inches at the bottom or so you need to cut outward to allow for hips? Thank you!
