Duck Supreme grip shelf liner has the best grip out there and works great for sewing machines, it even held my portable washing machines from vibrating around on the counter when I wash my fabrics, I don't like wasting water in my larger machine.
The nonslip rubbery shelf liner will work well to keep your serger from slipping. At one time, I also used mouse pads under my machines. I don't know whether those are even still a thing. Thanks for doing this video. I bought this pattern capsule a year ago, but I haven't made it up yet. You have inspired me to get going on it!
I have sewn so many of these patterns thanks to the easy to follow patterns and accompanying tutorials! I feel so great being able to wear clothes that I made and feel extra special when someone compliments me on it!
someone mentioned this on my last video and I really need to go grab some!! I know it looks more intense in the fast forward clips but it gets annoying to have to keep moving it back haha
I use a small carpet square under my foot pedal to keep it from moving. It might work welll for the machine as well. Those squares (which are samples) are usually give-aways at carpet stores
You make it so easy to follow with your tutorials. I have the t shirt and leggings now I've seen how easy they are I'm definitely going to make. What pattern is the checked top you're wearing please?
Hey you have the same Babylock Victory Serger as I have! Isn’t it brilliant! I have the Janome CPX 2000 Coverstitch which is also a great machine, these machines make like soooo much easier, just like your patterns!!!🥰
I forgot to ask you about cover stitching your hem. When you get to the side seam where you said you had the most trouble, what’s your advice to keeping a good even stitch, I have issues with mine over the seams as well? Thank you so much for your help. Tammy
I loved these... you make it look so easy! Do you have to have a special machine to do a cover stitch? Also I could not hear where you got your fabric... I need places that sell stretchy fabric! thanks!
Diana, can I ask what top your wearing and the fabric you used for it please. I love the plaid material. I bought this capsule so thank you for making this video going to make a complete outfit for my daughter. Tammy
It’s a retired pattern, but you can email customer service at hello@ellieandmac.com and request the pattern. We will invoice you for the retired price and add it to your account. 🩷
I love the pattern capsule concept, but the pattern itself is ridiculously expensive. I'll wait for a sale (which, in this case. will probably never happen).
Capsules are so smart!
I love this pattern. New to sewing garments.

I use a piece of shelf liner under my machines to keep them from sliding around.
I have a baby lock server. It has an air threader. Makes a huge difference
Thanks for another great video. Wouldn't it be great if patterns came with the cut to size material and all we had to do was sew ha ha

Cute capsule. To steady your machines use shelf liner or as I prefer the rug grip mats at the dollar store.
I did not realize that I had to buy the pattern pieces for everything you are doing
You make it look so easy! X x

Awesome pattern!
Love the idea...the tshirt and leggings were my favorite! You motivate me to sew 🥰🤩
I love the tee fabric. I spy Beau popping up by your serger ❤️❤️❤️
yes!! he loves to hang around when I'm sewing! he is getting soooo big!!
Love the whole outfit & you truly do inspire to get to sewing. Just bought the Everyday Tee as I watched this video. 😊
I use the rubberized shelf liner to keep my machines and foot pedals in place.
someone mentioned this on my last video and I really need to go grab some!! I know it looks more intense in the fast forward clips but it gets annoying to have to keep moving it back haha
Can't quite sew as fast as you (smile) but looking forward to making this outfit!
STEAM A SEAM YESSSSSSSSSSSS!
My kind of style, need to do the leggings ASAP!
I use a small carpet square under my foot pedal to keep it from moving. It might work welll for the machine as well. Those squares (which are samples) are usually give-aways at carpet stores
Great idea! Thanks!
Love this! It looks like a pattern that I've been looking for.. I'm heading over to the website soon!
You make it so easy to follow with your tutorials. I have the t shirt and leggings now I've seen how easy they are I'm definitely going to make. What pattern is the checked top you're wearing please?
Sew cute!
The Everyday tee is my TNT pattern
What watch are you wearing??
hem tape idea is brillant...lots to choose from on Amazon. Which brands do find easiest to work with?
Nice outfit
Thank you!
Such a Great tutorial and cute outfit!! Do you remember what type of fabric you used for the leggings?
You are so beautiful and awesome!
My only problem is cutting:( it takes so much time that by the time I'm done I'm too tired to sew up the items.
I agree with you. If the patterns would cut themselves, I would sew more.
Same.
What kind of iron are you using? The steam function looks great.

Deanna this suit is absolutely beautiful. Would you mind sharing the company you got the fabric from. Thank you ahead.
Loved it. What fabric did you use for the cardigan?
I used a light rayon spandex ❤️

i bought the fairy jacket but forgot to download the instructions, i would love to know how to make the reversable optional,
Hi! You can download the pattern file again from your account. If you have any problems, please email us at hello@ellieandmac.com
What is the iron you are using, please?
Love your tutorials, but I have a question. How do you NOT burn your fingers when you steam the seams? You don't even flinch. Maybe I'm just a wimp. 😊
haha I do sometimes!! its a game I like to play.. how close can you get before you get burned! not really haha
Clicked on the link for the pattern capsule and it said discontinued, bummer
Very cute outfit! What fabric did you use for the leggings?
I used double brushed poly ❤️
Ellie and Mac Patterns OK thank you!
Do you have a Patreon? I would definitely join.
I can buy the clothes for about the same money with out the work!
Is there a link to the fairy jacket? 😢
It’s a retired pattern, but you can email customer service at hello@ellieandmac.com and request the pattern. We will invoice you for the retired price and add it to your account. 🩷
I clicked on the info for the tee top and nothing came up so I checked the others still nothing was showing up. ☹️
I love the pattern capsule concept, but the pattern itself is ridiculously expensive. I'll wait for a sale (which, in this case. will probably never happen).
Having a very hard time changing my password so I can put he’s patterns.😐
