That's what I've been sayin?! But, I think u can wet it with milk as well if ur nervous about the water slipping down their throats. But I have these bamboo washcloths I am going to try this with those and see how that works. My baby girl is in SOO much pain, she hasn't had plain water yet, but the bamboo cloths when wet and rung out, r not dripping wet, she can chew and gnaw on it (hopefully) and whatever water comes from the rag will just sorta blend with her drool. That's what I am hoping anyways. Good luck with your teething baby !
I was told by my pediatrician that at 3 months they can have no more than 2oz of water within 24 hours! Around this time is when baby will usually start teething as well 💖
Usually a baby starts teething after the 6 month mark. At this point they can alao have a bit of water, plus the quantity of water in that washcloth is insignificant (keep in mind you squeese most of the water out of the washcloth before putting it in the freezer)
Most likely, baby will star teething around or after they start solids in which case you would give water as well to help soften stool. Also, the water in this example is minimal. It's just to moisten and cool the wash cloth.
Hey Doc, that’s an old remedy maybe new do you but they’ve been using that remedy for almost 75 years when I said I get nice because they didn’t have refrigeration they only had ice boxes you make me laugh
My mother did that with me when I was 4 months old whenever my gums hurting she would do that or take a dab of whiskey and rub it on my gums to soothe the pain..
Thank you. 5 months old about to turn 6 months old and he was hollering and screaming. Thank you. It gets right to the point. Thank you so much
I just want to say, my 5 month old was smiling ear to ear watching this video!
My 4 month old is watching very attentively 😂 he's teething
Dont show screen to kids
This would explain why my girl always tries to chew on her wet wipes😅...such good info, can't wait to try it ❤
I'm ready to try just about anything! My 10m.o is so miserable, cutting his first three teeth all at once. Thank you for this tip hope it works
This works! Well it helps. Dampen the washcloth then freeze
wow...thanks for sharing this hack.
What size wash cloth is this?
My baby gets mad when I put something in her mouth it’s only if she chooses to put it in her mouth lol
What would they have done back in the days without freezers?
Cucumber
Apparently whiskey
Some people use wooden teethers but it hurts me to even think about it
Chicken drumstick bones ... they're great!
Thanks for sharing
My baby has a teething toy that is recommended to be used to cool it first.
Don’t completely freeze it tho
It works
Hylands heals.
But I thought that they can't have water for a while
