Zach - Received the pedal (and the Hat) from you guys today. WOW, just love it, so far killer tone. Really boost the flavor with the chup. Think the vib side is my fav. Great work!! THANK YOU
I really love this enclosure size for modulation and delay. I think it’s an amazing form factor for gigging. I usually ride my volume for overdrive and fuzz, which stays on all the time. I can maintain a tight pedalboard and still nail that foot switch when I need that effect. I’m also not mad that my board is almost all Mythos pedals at this point. 😬
You nailed it with this one! It's already become our new favorite chorus at the shop. I'm a CE-2 player as well and this does everything I like about the CE-2 but goes a little farther. Sounds great with drive and even better when you pair it with the Oracle.
Just got one of these to replace my old CE5 that I wasn't entirely happy with anymore. Testing it out it just feels so OPEN; it's adding just enough color to my guitar signal without it feeling squashed. Extremely happy with it and exactly what I was looking for. Not my first Mythos pedal and definitely not my last. Y'all are doing some great work.
Sounds fantastic. Only thing I would add (maybe for v2?) is tap tempo. But that’s not a must have for this type of pedal - more of a luxury feature. Looks and sounds like a worthy addition to the Mighty Mythos line. Great job!
@MythosPedals Apparently John Frusciante is known for using a CE-1 at the beginning of his chain to give his amp a little push - which is important to make the Boss Turbo Distortion and Ibanez Wah play nice together. I wondered if turning the depth and rate all the way down on The Fates would push the signal without hearing the chorus to have that same effect?
The added development cost for a feature that I ultimately don’t believe is necessary would have raised the final price. I just want to keep our pedals simple.
@@aidanswaffordI’m just comparing it to other chorus/vibratos on the market. Seems like it’s $30-$50 higher, and hey who am I to say. I’m sure it’s a good pedal. I own 3 Mythos and live them.
@@MythosPedalsonly asking as the boss ce-2w has quite a noticeable jump in volume which is not great in my opinion. This pedal does sound great and I love the simplicity and authentic tone .
@@MythosPedals I see what you did there. I do have one 235.00 on Reverb Mint/Excellent Condition. Point is you have a great sounding Chorus but way over priced.
@@danielsheffield445 How is it overpriced? You're comparing the price of a used product to a new price. There is 3 of us here at Mythos and this is an expensive pedal to make for us. We're a small company and our prices are very competitive considering the quality and attention we put into them.

Thanks for the in-depth explanation of the fates pedal. Awesome 7:00 7:01
After listening to that demo, I cannot even remember if I have a chorus on my board. Doesn't matter.... I'm gonna make room for yours!
Thanks!!
It exists! So glad you finally got to launch this, Zach; I know it was a bumpy road getting here!
Sounds phenomenal can't wait to get one! Thank you Mythos team!
intro is so cool. Keep on keepin´on .Best regards from Germany 🍀
soundz great! you guys are upping your video game seriously! great to see!
Wow, nice work Zach! Congrats on the release!
Phenomenal! Love the vibe. The slow rate settings are my fave.
I'm getting one of these. Great stuff guys
Thanks!
Smart that u started with Chorus. I hope they sell well and i hope u keep dipping your toes into the world of modulation. 😊
Sounds great! Those leslie sounds at the end ruled.
Agreed! Demo track was fire! Pedal sounds awesome!

Fantastic pedal!! great work.
Love the killer sound of this chorus pedal ! Baddass chorus sounds !

That lead tone brings me BACK
Well you definitely outdid yourself on that demo track! Great tones Zach

Thanks so much!
Zach is an underappreciated guitarist. Love you playing, as always, my friend!
Color aside sounds fantastic!
Sounds awesome Zach!
Great tone !!!
Beautiful styling on this pedal.
Whoa! That sounds great! 🎉
This opening track straight effin slaps! Ordered.
Thank you!
DUDE!!!
Sounds really great. Hope this helps push you into more modulation effects...
Great demo track!
Well done
Zach, it sounded lush and not overbearing!!! 🏆
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i was gonna stick with my good old ch-3 ....
and you now made one sounding this good.....
dayum man....
I will definitely wind up with one of these. The Oracle is
one of my favorite pedals ever.
😀Very cool pedal , totally inspired tones... love it.
This sounds as good as chorus and vibrato gets
There it is!?!?! 🙌
I dig it!
Warren Haynes would love this pedal!

Please can you link me to the bass demo with vibe 👍

Fucking Great!!!
AMAZING AND ALSO FIRST!!!!
if you don't want a tap tempo switch, maybe a tap tempo jack would have been cool. sounds great and congratulations to the team.

What is that guitar that isn’t a Les Paul?, looks amazing!
It’s a 54 reissue Les Paul routed for Humbuckers!
@@MythosPedals cheers for the response, it was the guitar you used for rhythm I was enquiring about, I think I’m in love with it, whatever it is!
Were the 54's the first Les Pauls, or just a good year?
52 were the first year. I like 54 reissues and love that this one has Humbuckers instead of p90s
@@MythosPedals That's right, I had forgotten the first models had p90's.
Where do you get your drum tracks from for these videos?
This was from Yurt Rock
Does it have an expression jack?..
It does not
Sounds awesome!! $229 is a little steep though.
Seems competitive to us. We’re just a team of 3 dudes trying to fight for our place in this market.
A very reasonable price for what it is and where it’s made

It does…ZZ Top sounds. 😂of course it does!!
Why no tone control on Mythos pedals ? 😢
I put them on circuits when I feel it necessary :)
Is there any jump
In volume when u engage the pedal?
There is a slight bump above unity so you don’t disappear
@@MythosPedalsonly asking as the boss ce-2w has quite a noticeable jump in volume which is not great in my opinion. This pedal does sound great and I love the simplicity and authentic tone .
Dude what les Paul is that? ‘54 with humbuckers?
Yup! A weird demo shop thing
@@MythosPedals wow fantastic
Is that the same color as 1347?
It’s a different blue. More denim like
It could be nice to see a MKII where the vibrato toggle switch was moved to a footswitch and with stereo out. Just my opinion 😊
Let’s give this more than a month to be out in the world then we’ll start modding haha
The size is the only problem for me!!
Want.
My this, the “volume is a useless knob” pedal company
I’ll add volume knobs to pedals that actually need them ;)
229.00? Great sounding no doubt, but 229.00? That’s Thorpy Deep Oggin territory but way less controls. Pass….
? The deep oggin is $319 but Adrian is a great guy. Get one, it’s a great pedal as well.

@@MythosPedals Fair, great sounding chorus. Just my opinion is all on price vs. controllability vs. what's on the market.
