You can call m777 a light artillery whose weight is about 4.2 tons.

Operation SAFEDSAGAR was the code name in which mirage 2000, migs were used , also it was the very first time in the world that any air force was participating in very difficult terrain. Also they weaponized the MI17 choppers , and with the help of that they conducted air strikes on top of tiger hill , muntho dhalo( famous attack).
Also the roots of Kargil war was through OPERATION MEGHDOOT (1984)
