I love the effect of the twisted cardboard for windows, etc. I'm making my first fairy house will use that. Thank you. You can buy egg cartons, pretty cheaply, at farm stores.
Here are the colors I used: Roof: Burnt Umber, Christmas Red, and Gold Walls: Sun Yellow and Grey Ground: Black, Hunter Green, and Bright Yellow. I like to experiment with colors. I usually find it nice to start with dark colors first then just highlight with bright ones. Gold is my favorite color for the highlights.
This fairy house has dimensions of 7 x 11 x 12 inches and stands at 1 foot tall. If you require a larger size for your project, feel free to scale up the measurements. The video provides the dimensions for each piece of cardboard used. Simply double or triple these measurements to achieve the size you want. I'm excited to see the wonderful projects you create!
