I hope we don't lose our work to AI eventually. The world would soon experience insanity. Interesting discussion.
Some job loss has already started in both office and blue collar work but we may not see the impact till it is about 15%-20%. At that point, it may be too late to think of these things. But I think we are still far from commercial bipedal robots. Or earlier models are here but too expensive.
Success in creating AI would be the biggest event in human history....believe it or leave it

One of my friends who is a AI fan always says imagine a world in which AI is going to make us work more productively, live longer, and have cleaner energy.
It's possible for sure! I think the productivity part is already here somewhat and it will just get better.

Completely agreed. Hopefully we don't let corporate interests surpass the humanistic aspect that are affected by AI.
The future is here.
For sure.. maybe sooner than we think. For example, no one really predicted the LLM Chatbot revolution even 3-4 years ago. Sometimes something just comes in and disrupts things and it takes off quickly. All the things we talked about here could take off quick with the right technology.
Software is eating the world, but AI is going to eat software.
