- In continuation of my "Short Takes" video series at All City Auto, I give a tour of a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
these cars are just incredibly beautuful. timeless look and looks far better than newer cars now. also some of the best and most powerful v6 engines ever made. Way to go Nissan/infiniti

In 2005, when I purchased mine, the 6 speed came with 300hp or known as the rev-up engine. It was the most powerful v6 of it's time.
This car always breaks down, and cost a lot to repair.

Wow such a beautiful orgasmic sound! The sexiest parts about the early 2000's VQ exhaust note is when the purring sound the engine makes, and when it settles back down to about 2000 rpm after being revved. That sound is pure heaven.

I have this exact same car. I can remember how in love I was with it when I first drove it home! It’s now been sitting in my garage for the past 3 years with a blown valve cover gasket. Cant wait to get it back on the road this summer and get the same feeling I had when I drove it off the lot!!
Engines are cheap if you ever need a new one.
Everytime I pull up next to one of these at a stoplight TO THIS DAY I still roll down my window and hope they floor it

That's good my car has 180,000 miles and no problems with it. I recommend it.
I know this is late, but what have you done maintenance wise to last that long? I just got an 03 coupe like this one and want to know some tips about it.

Caribbean blue was the nicest color this car came in, red (what I have) is my second favorite...

My mom had a 2004 G35x that was Obsidian Black with wheat leather. GREAT CAR! it was also the car I learned to drive in.
Obsidian Black was the best color with the Graphite interior
Midnight blue is also nice. Its like subtle and elegant as well
8 year old car and doesnt look outdated at all. Remember seeing one in spring of 2002 and fell in love right there.
I just bought a 06 g35 with all the options on it 4 months ago its amazeing I love it the sound like epic its beautiful looking car it makes me want to drive it and all the time its a great car

I loved the horn on the G35. My mom had a 2004 G35x: Black with wheat leather. Beautiful car! And also, it was the car I ever drove on a public road!

infiniti makes the greatest exhaust sounds, just how loud the "rumble" is is really cool
Timeless exterior design
I don't have either, but I often hear that the G35 is more comfortable, a daily driver, luxurious and still really quick.
One of the sharpest ones I've seen yet! My cousin has a G35 sedan. Once he let me drive it, and I wish I never did- 'cause I wanted to drive it home and keep it!

Amazing car i bought it when i came back from overseas and never looked back. I love this baby, it's a real power house for a naturally aspirated car. Throw a single turbo in this bad boy and you are looking for one awesome time. Even stock this baby breaks the backend loose around turns in 1st and 2nd WITH vdc enabled. Amazing car you wont regret it if you get one!

that's the best colour too imo.
Both g35 blue's look great as does the white. The black and grey also look great but everyone has those colours.

You should do a test drive of this generation of g35s. This is one of my favorite cars.

I own a 2006 g35 coupe, all coupes need premium gas, all come in RWD only they never made AWD coupes, anyway they are very reliable! I would go for 2005 and plus since they upgraded the interior and no more failing window motors and radios, also the interior on the 03-04 looks very old now. I got the 2006 because the changed the tail lights added a better looking spoiler and projector headlights!!! Love it other than filling up gas lol.

Yes and make sure it's the coupe if you do get the G35. The coupe is sooo much more sexy than the sedan.

@vc821030 you are right, but there is a Car Insurance that will insure the car ;). Also drive save and treat the car well so it wouldn't need to go to the repair shop regularly.

I have an 03 coupe with the brembo brakes. The oil consumptions not bad. I get 24 mpg avg. Put on over 60k and enjoyed every mile of it...

That's unfortunate. G35s were known for the center console giving trouble but other than that they were mechanically and electrically sound. On top of that they drive amazing and are good dollar value.

iv been looking for cars basicly coups and iv gone through mustang gts and other cars but so far this is the best cheaper and looks good deff buying one
All years of the coupe need premium. 03-04 sedans can use regular since they had a less aggressive tune and made less power. All 05+ sedans need premium.

@Jaspreet Sekhon Ok...it more sounds like the motor to me, but it could also mean a malfunctioning regulayor assembly.. replace the later is cheaper because it cost a $100 for the regulator setup. if its the motor, u csn find one online.for 150 n have someone.install it...like Tuffy auto, pepboys etc

my grandparents had a 2003 Infiniti g35 with the aero package best car you could ever own the ac compressor went back so we got rid of it
Love this car. Saw one for $15k or so with only 30k miles.
I personally think the infiniti looks much better inside and out and it has those back seats. also the g35 is a great mix of performance and luxury with out sacrifising either one. the g35 is pretty much a 350z but much better

I was wondering what about the window sometimes it doesn't work im getting one in two weeks also an 04 and im worried about the window problem because they cost 600 to fix!

The 03 doesn't have the oil consumption problem it's only the rev-up engine that has it (05 and after)
I was wondering to buy one 04 G35 coupe 2 month ago. I like its appearance. But my boss said Nissan's products at that period always had transmission issues. I changed my mind and bought a 05 Accord coupe.
All automatic transmission's usually need to be rebuilt at 150k miles. A manual, usually the clutch needs to be replaced at 100k miles. The brand doesn't matter, so your boss is wrong. Transmissions are like brake pads, there is wearable material that will only last so long. Sorry to hear you missed out on buying the better car.
