Would I spend that much money on it? No. That being said though, if I did I wouldn't be mad at it. You're getting your money's worth. Unlike a $50 Sephora calendar that they claim is worth $90 or something, but according to who?! It's filled with free samples and trash lol

I’d absolutely reuse that box for random things. Jewelry, dnd dice, tiny dinosaurs. It’s wonderful.
I’d definitely email them if the body oil is off & vinegar of all scents would lead me to wonder. I bet they’d absolutely make that right w/ a $1,000 purchase.
Fun fact: according to the religious tradition the 12 days of Christmas begin on Christmas and end January 6th (aka 12th night, epiphany eve), so really a 12 day advent should be started on Christmas.
That explains so much - I’ve always been confused why you would be “missing” the other 12 days for the countdown to Christmas!

Thank you for taking the plunge on our behalf Laura - I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see what each day’s surprise was for any other calendar. I love the idea of it being gifted on Christmas too as my family are of the opinion that many advent calendars are so expensive that they should be considered a present themselves but obviously you don’t have anything to open on Christmas Day if that’s your only present. The packaging is gorgeous but I wouldn’t be able to throw it away 😂

Best dupe for baccarat rouge, ‘Zara’s Red Temptation’ and it last so long on the skin!? So good!
The regular Bacarat only lasts about 2 hours on me. The extrait lasts about 4 hours and smells super similar to me. So DEFINITELY prefer the extrait

I thought this MFK Advent Calender was really poor value. Oils? a small Candle? air freshner? laundry soap?? Come On.. And the one full bottle isn't even an Extrait. I would send it back 🙄 But I know you do it for your audience and it was a fun video to watch.. so thank you for doing the video 💕💕

No, I wouldn’t spend $1000 on that, but thank you for doing that. I’m happy you are getting a lot of views, so it’s worth it for you. If it came with seven 50ml sprays including gentle fluidity gold and grand soir I would get it. You influenced me on the Neiman’s calendar though. Happy Thanksgiving !

Such a fun series. I’ve been suuuuper curious about the dossier advent calendar!! I wish Alt fragrance/oakcha had done something similar. I have a ton of dossier scents but my skin also eats perfume & I’ve found that extraits rly help to give my the lasting power. That said, the dossier one has me curious. A perfume advent would be super fun.

I love all your advent calendar videos! I was wondering if you’ve tried anything from Demeter fragrance? They’re pretty affordable and have loads of fun options! I really like the tomato and black pepper scents together
Stunning! Be sure to just use a tablespoon or so of the detergent per load, it's WELL known that brands encourage consumers to use WAY more laundry soap than they actually need and a detergent like that you do NOT wanna be wasting!!

I'm so happy that I watched this! I already own the 540 extrait (don't care for the edp), oud satin mood, 540 shimmering oil & laundry detergent. I don't care for 724. This would be super repetitive for me...I would've been big sad.😢

This is a good advent calendar.
For me, this would have been such a letdown. I can't stand BR540, and it seems as if this whole calendar was focused primarily on that scent. Sad, because the house has a lot of good fragrances. I do like the travel sprayer, but that wouldn't have made it okay at this price. Glad to see you so excited about it though.
I got the Dyptique $510 AC-happy to love it at that price!

I finally purchased baccarat and after having so many dupes. It’s not as special anymore. I blame myself.
@@Jessicaj1015 I have the Dossier dupe so I can’t say how accurate it is but my mom and sister hated it as well. Monika Cioch mentioned a “hospital” note in one of her videos and that’s exactly what it is. My mom even said it smells like antiseptic so I thought there must be something to that.
