To my Raiders nation I'm a Bulldog fan 4 Lyfe after finally winning Back 2 Back National Championships with this Hybrib TE on the roster. I was truly hoping when he Deckard for the Draft he was going to get Drafted by the Raiders. It came to in Rd1 pick #13 this dude is a beast he will not disappoint the main TRUST ME on this. He was the best available player on the board for us; and we snatched him up. GO RAIDERS!!!!GO DAWGS!!!!
brock is the 2nd best player in this draft after marvin harrison. the best graded college TE ever. he runs a 4.48. No linebacker will be able to cover him. HE IS ELITE!!!! Hes like a faster kelce. and hes hard to bring down. Do your homework. Hes gonna make our offense reach another level and will be a matchup nightmare

He averaged over 8 yards after contact number one in the country that includes all the WRs that were drafted so high more than the dude the Chiefs drafted who ran a 4.21 at the combine that's insane.

we just got two tight end set if you think about it that's how patriots won they had the two tight end sets with Aaron Hernandez and Gronk and since they were so big that's how they won game and SB so l'm cool with this

Our o line was so bad last year we had to have an xtra tight end to block last year . WTF , the young man has incredible talent although I always thought the term Best Available , applied to the working groups of positions that we need to address going into the draft , CB ‘s , OL , LB, QB , RB . I’m not no football manager although going into the draft I thought we were solid at WR and TE . Sorry Raider Nation this pick left this Fan scratching my head . But what do I know ?? 🤷♂️

@@Afakasi_Raider I was just looking up some stats on him out of his 2538 total yds . 1487 yds came after the catch that accounted for 58.6% of his total yds . This tells me he is indeed a playmaker after the catch . Let’s hope this young man has a productive career with our team . 👍🏴☠️🏴☠️☠️☠️

We were chillin in the Raiders discord all week talking about how Browers could fall to us at 13 if the Jets didn't take him. Lo and behold, when it came to our pick i was typing BOWERS like a mad dog. Great great pick, dude is a monster. I get it shocked a lot of people but it made total sense with the QBs gone.

Best TE prospect in recent memory. AP trying to dominate the middle of the field Gronk style. Also, Minshew’s numbers with 12-man personnel are pretty eye-opening, so I’m guessing they also had that in mind. I had the same reaction at first. I wanted Fuaga. Then I remembered how unstoppable this dude is and realized "oh shit". 😂

Brock bower will be a Hall of Famer. He is the greatest college tightend in the history of college football.🏈 6-4 -240 pounds runs a 4.40 and will end up being our number one target just like Kelsey is just like Gronkowski was. And if the kid stays healthy will destroy all their numbers reminds me a lot of Jeremy Shockey with his runs after the catch never goes down on the first hit. The kid is a absolute lethal weapon and teams are gonna have to figure out if they’re doubling him or DA.
Thanks for the sub Raiders rebel. I remember Shockey he was good for a while with the Saints alongside Jimmy Graham. Hopefully we can have a similar situation with Mayer and Bowers.
Upon further review the guy seems to be a stud and I'm loving the pick of Bowers a lot more now after doing my research.

Best Player Available and the best value at pick 13!!! He’s an offensive weapon. He’s not just a strictly TE. He lined up more in the slot and outside and even at H back formation for the Georgia Bulldogs!! We gonna have so many mismatches all over the field. Do your home work on him and how this is gonna work but obviously not up on where he was in terms of best prospects coming out this year.

I have been educating myself a lot more since the pick and the more I learn this guy the more I'm starting to love it.
The reason a lot of us reacted the way we did is this was one furthest areas of need for the team so a lot of us, including myself, didn't bother to research the position in the first round. Why many of us are guilty of overlooking Bowers and his credentials as one of the best playmaking Tight End prospects in years.

Great pick up. This show that O'Connell is their guy. Have a good TE(s), Defense and a run game will help any young QB to succeed. Just with they kept Jacobs.

The old-timers know this GM did Us right his first time out. Dozens of Key Players already weeks into working out together. since AP took over Nov1.... U seen what happened.

Bowers was the Best Overall Available. Best TE duo is ours now. Bowers won best TE in nation back to back years and is known for his YAC. Hard to bring down and opponents will be forced to twist drop tackle, giving us a free 1st down and 15 yards, every time. Only downside is, Did we just miss out on the pick of the Defensive litter? Murphy, Mitchel or Arnold could be generational talent. Maybe Telesco moves up in the 2nd for a DeJean to top off our DL, but look for the best available OT or worse ...a Guard. Bowers is a beast, so best available overall might be the round 2 strategy as well.
Definitely a head scratcher in the moment but unlike our usual head scratchers, the player is actually elite. Top 3-5 player in the class. Since when do we pull that off. Condidering how well the rest of the draft went, this pick is that much better. Great player, great pick.
For sure a pick that a lot of us had to marinate over. But def feel much better about.

Lots of Raiders fans didn't initially like the pick, once you woke up washed your face n watched his tape you were more than likely okay with it. We do have a new Coach and OC, Luke Getsy loves running 2 man TE's. So having some of the best at that position should help the Offense succeed.
Right?!? We weren't the only ones as a lot of us Raider fans didn't expect a Tight end initially. We just needed time to come around to the pick once we became more informed. 🏴☠️
People bitching for years how we reach for need this time we go BPA and dudes claiming we reached for the #5 overall player on the big board. Bowers is a weapon. Joe Klatt has him as Pass Catcher #2 after Harrison.

Many of us Raider fans, including myself, were not as informed about Bowers and how good he really is as we didn't do any research on tight ends as we drafted a tight end last year round 2 (Myers). We didn't think this would be an area of attack first round of the draft.
But now many of us are more informed with Bowers now and just how good he is. I for one am very happy with the pick.
Dude looks like he's a stud and like I said in the video there's a reason if tight end isn't a need that we selected one anyways because hopefully he is that damn good 🏴☠️

Maybe because I'm a die hard Raider fan. Admittedly I don't watch a lot of College football but that's not to say I don't get excited to see my team draft. I know a handful of players but not a lot and Brock Bowers was one of the players, admittedly, I didn't know too much about.
Now that we've drafted him I will do my best to learn what I can about him.

Brock Bowers is an elite slot receiver, whereas Mayors is a inline traditional TE who is still a work in progress in run blocking. This will work. don't look at Bowers as a TE. he is was more than half the time in Georgia played out wide or in slot, rarely was an inline TE.

I think we added lots of talent. But no matter how much people say we are gonna run a 2TE offense there's no team with 2 TE going for 2000 yards a year, or nothing even close. The raise of one will necessary mean the demise of the other. in reps and minutes. I expect Bowers taking over and being a Pro Baller for years to come and Mayer leaving in a couple a years for more minutes and shinning somewhere else (maybe not as much as Bowers but being pretty succesful). So eventually is going to be one or the other. But this pick will be valued depending if any of the CBs taken in the first round come out to be Pro Ballers too. If that's the case we just exchange a talented TE for another more talented and miss on a hig caliber starting CB instead. It doen's really add up for me when a team has so many holes as ours, but again not mad about it cause there were no QBs left to draft if they din't have any CBs highly graded then this makes total sense. I do think Penix JR is going to be a baller though ( he has more talent in that left arm than Minshwe and AOC put together) but I wouldn't have traded up either cause the risk of that not hapenning is much higher than Bowers. I give it a B grade.

It's no mystery Telesco will draft BPA and Bowers was head and shoulders ahead as far as draft grade goes. If you have a guy with a much higher grade than anyone else Telesco will draft that guy.
He def attacked the draft for the most part with BPA mentality. I love it!
I have really good feeling about this pick and the class as a whole.

@@Afakasi_Raider It has nothing to do with Mayer it's BPA and no one had a better grade then Bowers and it wasn't even close. Obviously they are planning to use 12 personnel a lot and that's good with our OL a work in progress. I was wondering if we'd have the balls to draft him he was being mocked at 5th to the Bolts a lot.

We're Raider fans not Soo much college football fans. We did a little homework on prospects in the first round but not soo much at the tight end position as Tight End was one of the least areas of need most of us felt we'd address first round. Why most us are guilty of overlooking Bowers, his skills and production.
I for one am definitely more informed with just how good Bowers is now. He's a stud and a baller 🏴☠️

Yeah we're die Raider fans rather then avid college fans and admittedly, quite a few of us didn't do our homework at the tight end position cause we drafted one high last year. This was a raw live reaction and it shows.
Upon further review many of us have changed our tune and have come around to the pick. From accounts he's the best tight end prospect to enter the draft in a little while and seems to be a good chance to stud at the next level.

No your right, this was a raw reaction to the pick while the draft was live. A lot of us were guilty of not doing our homework on the tight end position as we thought it was one of the furthest positions we would attack in the first round specifically.

I was trying to bring some logic to the panel despite admittedly not knowing much about the tight end prospects going into the draft.
Upon more research afterwards the guy seems like he's a stud. I am very happy with the pick and dude seems like he's the best tight end prospect in years.

Some of y’all got no clue. Brock Bowers is NOT a “tight end” he’s a PLAYMAKER. Theres not many of those in the league.

If you guys are mad about the pick you don’t know anything. All the QB’s were gone. Lots of CB AND OT in round 2 AND round 3 that can start immediately. Bowers was the best available player. He was ranked the 7th best prospect. he is 1 of 2 players with 2500+ receiving yards and 30+ touchdowns since 2021 the other player Marvin Harrison jr. Let me remind you. A TIGHT END did this. Bowers was a HUGE STEAL at 13. You can’t pass up elite talent like that.
He wasn't a guy I did research admittedly as it wasn't a position I felt we needed.
But now this pick has marinated and I've done some research, I'm definitely a lot happier now that I'm more informed with how talented this guy is.

It’s definitely going to help Adams a lot and now they can use so many two tight end sets and another thing is what makes him such a great pick is he can play anywhere on the field now if he was just a traditional tight end and only played on the line then I understand not talking a tight end but can line up on the outside inside in the slot on the line.
@@troypeylouret I dismissed the notion of dual tight end sets in the video as I heard that story before with the last regime and even further and it never happened. Now with the Getsy system and two young very talented Tight Ends in theory we should be seeing a lot of it 🏴☠️

When we had Waller and Moreau I rarely, if ever, saw them on the field at the same time. Last year it was either Hooper or Mayer and never really both on the field which is why I said what I said. I may not know too much about college football but I do know Raider football.
AP said it last year, "We're a running team".....two tight ends for the running team. You admittedly say you know nothing about him and yet you want to bad mouth the pick. Taking a top 10 player at #13 isn't a reach so pull your heads out.
