I just received mine and I love it !! I agree with all your statement . A really cool boost pedal . KHDK should sponsor you because it’s a really good demo of the pedal . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great demo Kyle! I like it. Definitely reminds me of a higher output version of the KHDK No 1. Overdrive but has the clarity of the KHDK No 2. clean boost. Great video brother. 🤘
You should try a flux drive from Mesa. It’s a BB circuit if I’m not mistaken and I like it better than the normal BB. I have both. Flux drive can be had for very reasonable prices.
Oh dude! You had to try out a Behemoth riff on that sucker :) Try some pedals like this with gain at like 9 o'clock on the amp and maybe 11 o'clock or so on the pedal. You'd be surprised what kind of interesting mix you can get. It's a neat solid-state meets tube kind of tone.
Something was overloading when you dimed the Volume at 6:20. It's like a pumping compressor effect that's ducking the starts of each notes (especially 6:24 - 6:30). It happens again at 7:07 and actually throughout the video. Maybe you need to leave more headroom on the Recording Inputs?
I have the first run of the pedal. Was unaware they had a 2nd run. In my honest opinion, the one thing the pedal fails a bit on is the fact that it has no knob for mids. I wonder if this is the same pedal in specs, voicing, etc. Your black guitar sounded the best, in my opinion.
@@belligerentamateur sorry about that…Inquoted the wrong Peavy model…He uses the 6505 plus just as Teloch from Mayhem does…6505 is used a lot by Black Metal guitarists…
It’s great that you actually know that it’s basically a BB Pre: love that but of extra knowledge. Guess why it’s not cloned that often… (drumroll………..) it’s a cloned TS-9 itself: the bb circuit is an exact copy of the TS-9 with fixed tone control at a surprisingly dark setting (around 20%) and a standard baxandall EQ added before the volume control. Not to talk it down at all: the bax-eq in the BB-pre is voiced perfectly for the ts and makes the bb preamp one of my favorite od/boost-pedals 🙂
Interesting! I honestly didn't know that! The BB is a circuit that I truly have no experience with, but now I'm highly intrigued to try the original, and see if there are any other cool pedals based off of it, because I sincerely enjoyed this one! Thanks for the info, Daniel!
Ach! I usually give so much weight to your reviews, but that speaker deviation threw me. How will I possibly get a feel for this pedal while paired with my First Act... Black... guitar... and AliExpress *Unbranded* 3.1 Watt Dumblester Fire Amp paired beautifully with my vintage 1997 Logitech PC speakers? Guess I'll have to check out that one other guy who reviews pedals online. Disappointed.

Mines arriving today :'D
Behemoths tone is so pleasing to me especially live and their pedal helps capture it greatly

Thanks my man!
For an UIE pedal it has a lot of balls! UIE are just the letters missing ont LCFR, for those who didn't understand.
Beelzebutt would approve! Great tones and riffage as always Kyle. 🤘🏻😎🎸

That pedal really sounds great!! So does you playing!!
Thank you! Appreciated!
Instant favorite for some brutal gain. Works absolutely perfectly with my mini JCM 800 (aka SC20H). Transforms it into a fire breather! 🤘😈 Hail STN 😝
This is a cool evil 😈 pedal lol very dynamic sounding..great video Kyle....
Hopefully they do another run of these. I’m revamping my whole rig and I wonder how this would sound with a victory kraken
Would be cool! I hope more companies start doing BB Preamp Style Boost Pedals!
I grabbed one tried it through the blue channel of evh 5150 el34 that nobody likes and man I dig it 🤘🏼

I got one with the first run, and I've loved it ever since then. I dont really feel interested in getting more overdrive pedals now lol
Understandable! Lol
kinda reminds me of a black cat OD-1 nice review, very cool pedal!
A couple times throughout this vid the pedal started almost like a cocked wah. I like that.
The high end can definitely start to take over if you dial it up and dial the bass down!
Hi Kyle, how would you compare the Triple XXX to the Badlander? Do you prefer the Badlander over the Triple XXX?
I bought this pedal used based purely on this review....no pressure Kyle
damn now i need to try a bb preamp style pedal on my marshall too
man that pedal really made a difference ! I went to go get one than I saw the PRICE :/
Excellent video as usual Kyle. Love your straight forward, honest, E-standard thrash, plug in and go style, perfect!!

got mine from behemoth store only 5 available
hello
Wich Schecter model you use in this vidéo ? is it stock or pickups were changed ?
thanks
Great Video and Channel!! Subscribed. 🤘
Nergal used the LCFR pedal with a Peavy 6534+, which is signature with Peavy…
wut

That is a sweet guitar my man!
Right? Thank you kindly!
I think? I would go with the savage drive V5 by Airis effects then this LCFR pedal...just my thoughts...??
Couldn't tell ya, never played the V5, but the previous versions of that pedal sounded kind of boring to me
The V3 was the best Savage Drive. He went overboard with V4. Can only imagine V5 is as bad as V4.
Will you still review MARSHALL DSL29HR or not? Just to know, if you dont mind
Yeah man, I just have a lot to get through

Ooooooooooo that sounds EVILLLLLLLLL, where can I get one of these?!
Reverb for astronomical used prices, as they were a very limited run

I have a 1st edition one for sale. HMU if interested. We can go through reverb, or direct through PayPal goods and services.
@@The_collection_ist I’d love to buy it man, sadly I’m sooooooo broke HAHAHAHAHAHA
