I had car accident, the car movement played with me from side to side and i smashed door window with my left face, we also landed on it. My left side was bloody mess. Yet nothing was broken, lot of cuts, ruptured eyelid, squares of autoglass all in my face and so on but nothing broken. We made like 4 rotations and i was the most lucky mind you but you never know. It got swollen imediately tho so you know it was nasty.

I'm just saying there's a good chance. he's an older fella by the looks of it, and he was smiling so that makes potential damage more likely with a nasty chair hit like that. but yes, there's also a chance it did nothing but make his face a little tender.

He can have as many money fights as he wants he’s holding up the division, making a mockery of any scraps of meritocracy in this sport and insulting a man that got a belt same way jon did - short notice. There is no leg for jones to stand on, two other champions relinquished on injury. Champions get stripped for not fighting mandatory challengers.
I don’t know how people don’t see this. Jones can fight stipe. But not for the belt. Jones needs to unify or step away and duck.

Damn Shogun vs Wanderlei seems kinda heartless from fans. The two were very good friends and everyone wanted to see them fight. I couldn't imagine fighting a good friend of 10+ years just for everyone else's amusement
Lets not forget, the only reason you've seen Connor sitting atop the octagon with two belts, is because Woodley lent him his. In ring Connor, "wheres my 2nd belt". That is Woodleys belt slung over his shoulder when the UFC didnt have a 2nd for him. Good man Woodley, letting connor have his moment.
Bisping refusing to fight Romero, Jacare or give Rockhold a rematch so he could fighter either Nick Diaz , Dan Henderson in his mid 40s or GSP was one of the biggest moments of ducking as a champ ever. Tito vs Chuck level but worse.
Exactly people forget how much Bisping ducked.

Those 2 held their divisions and double champ status wasn't pushed as much at that time. But when GSP fought Hendricks and the second camera being on Anderson had the biggest implications at the time. Fedor vs, Couture would be a close second for me.

Tom is the interim heavyweight champ. I dunno, Jones isn’t really ducking him, he had already committed to fight someone else. Of course I would prefer if he fought Tom first and question why they’re even making the stipe fight as it seems quite pointless. But it’s unfair to say that he’s ducking Tom until he actually ducks him. If after the stipe fight he refuses to fight Tom than he would be ducking the fight. As it stands if he went to fight Tom than he’s be ducking stipe. First things first, he already committed to fight stipe long before Tom was interim champ.

Tony and khabib isn’t applicable to the list, that fight got booked many times, unlike the fights on this list.

I had a chance to talk to Master Rafael about Wandy and Shogun. I met him when he was in American Airlines going to Australia. I mentioned the sparring sessions with them he said that he has a video of it. But I’ve asked him how would the sparring sessions go he said it was always 50/50 their both aggressive but I don’t think we will ever see the footage

tbf Jones wanted Cain and Brock, 100%. When he called out Cain he had just fought Chael Sonnen for the LHW belt, no disrespect to Chael, but I agree when Jon said LHW is getting lonely if they're matching you up with middleweights for title fights, so he eyed off the HW champion. Then he had the Gustafsson fight, which he famously didn't train a minute for, further cementing that "No one here can touch me" mentality which resulted in the scrappiest war he's been in. With Daniel Cormier, Rumble Johnson, Ryan Bader all knocking on the door, LHW didn't look so lonely any more. I don't chalk that up to Jon pulling out at all, he still had work to do in his own division, in the age before everyone wanted to hop around like divisional hopscotch.
Then Jon famously destroyed the prime of his career.
He was BEGGING for Brock. Easy money. A massive dude, fast, great wrestling, but he HATES being hit. Sloppy striking that relied entirely on power and wrestling to set it up, Jon Jones wins that fight 99 times out of 100. Massive pay day and a huge medal on his resume. Don't pretend anyone other than Brock is the reason that fight didn't happen.
The only thing all this makes me think about Jon Jones is "Fuck... How good could he have been if he wasn't so stupid?" We normally talk about how self-sabotage prevents people from achieving greatness. I can think of no other example where the objectively greatest participant, of any discipline, did everything in their power to undermine themselves. He wasn't training for title fights, people! That's absurd!

Michael Bisping pulled a Jon Jones before Jon did, ducking Yoel is the reason Bisping lost a lot of support during his reign, similar to Jon ducking Tom for a "super fight" with Stipe who doesn't deserve a title shot. GSP wanted one of the easiest MW champions to fight. Wouldn't move up to fight Rockhold, Weidman or Silva, opponents that would really give him second thoughts.
