I'm not even from Canada and yet I just watched your video with enthusiasm. Rosedale and the Chestnut Park were so beautiful. Rosedale is so wonderfully old-fashioned that I got nostalgic straight away. As a kindergarten teacher, I doubt that I will ever be able to afford something like that, but I can still dream. Thank you for the lovely video💙
The weather is exactly like we have in Vladivostok, Russia. The same bright, saturated colors of autumn, the same weather. I enjoy watching your videos while on another continent. I'm looking forward to another video from Toronto.
Yes, Jay MacPherson was a poet who lived in the area, and I lived there for awhile, on MacPherson, red-brick apartment building on the north side late 70's..... and while the area & homes were great, that apartment was not. Rail tracks & bridge were still operational & it felt like a locomotive was about to come through your living room 3 or 4 times a day & night!.... Also lived on Glen Road in Rosedale late 80's so nice to see both areas once again.... Thanks Johnny!
The house that was on sale at Macpherson Avenue is currently listed for $2.8M...and 6/49 jackpot is $11M tonight...lol! Summerhill neighbourhood is a nice area, convenient and not too much traffic. The person who just popped up at 22:45, doesn't seem to fit the demograph in the area. Thanks for the walk! 👍👍👍
My next door neighbor who used to be a boxer always tells me how he'd train running up that steep long hill at 39:55 ... where that lady is coming up with her dog (he's in his 70s now). Im pretty sure it goes down in to a ravine type pathway...very nice. He used to train at the Cabbagetown Boxing Club too.
36:38 was the late Kenneth Thomson's house, one of the finer examples of Georgian style architecture in town. Another example of this same style is on May (also in Rosedale).
Oh! Thank you for showing us some really nice neighborhood😍 Love to see the Chestnut Park street and white pumpkin decorations! It’s so cool❤️ Perfect ending at lovely park🤗👍
Craigleigh Gardens was once the 13 acre Rosedale property of Edmund Osler (1845-1924), businessman, politician and philanthropist. His brothers included Sir William Osler, the internationally renown surgeon.
This was a great stroll through a very nice neighbourhood and I especially liked that stone wall at 26:03. If I had the dubloons, I’d have an opulent condo somewhere in The City, or a very nice house with lots of space between myself and any neighbors. At the end of the video, I’d have been tempted to say to the rude coughing person, “Thanks for sharing!” (Bacteria-carrying droplets expelled by sneezes or coughs travel up to 4 metres and stay viable for 45 minutes after being expelled into the air and remain able to infect other people).
Nice walk through one of the last quiet and clean neighborhoods left in this city (but you need millions of dollars to live there). This walk also included a million cars , bright orange construction cones everywhere and more condos than you can shake a stick at. Too bad you couldn't post the cost of homes in the city where a 70 year old 2 bedroom 1 bath bungalow with no garage and no yard costs 2.2 million.
every video that you post, I watch it in it's entirety. My heart just gets so warm with the feeling that I'll get to be there one day
Thank you!
It’s truly beautiful 😻. I highly regret not purchasing a property here in 2010 because not all the houses 🏡 in Toronto have skyrocketed 🆙

Another great walk through some nice neighbourhood and beautiful homes 🏠.

Amazing video, im glad i found it. Just the colors seem a bit more saturated, and so i wondered if it really looked like that or if it is a post edit.

Nice walk! Do a stroll starting at Annette St and continuing onto DuPont.

Awesome it's almost impossible for us to visit there
I've actually lived on both Roxborough Street west and east. Nice hood. Close to everything downtown.
Beautiful Town ❤️❤️❤️
You deserve a BIG like for this video, Johnny!

Nice resitents zone
There are lots of park!
Azael morales Reyes 👍👍
Which is safer New York or Toronto?
Molson St. doesn't have any ties to the Molson family, according too Google.
Neat!

Which one is better rosedale or summerhill ?
I'd say Rosedale only due to its proximity to downtown but both are amazing.
What microphone were you using for this video?
Probably the Shure MVL.
Post more videos outside Toronto!
Where do you suggest?
💚🙂
