Lovely line up for January! The Radius Settimo Marmo Bianco is on my to-buy list, but I call it the oatmeal pen. It looks to me more like rolled oats than coffee beans. Either way, it’s a really attractive pen. My experience with Tang Mi Se Blue is the same as yours, that it darkens over time in a pen, so I think it’s the ink itself.
I totally see the oatmeal!!! Interestingly in the Opus 88, Tang Mi Se Blue remained pretty true to color despite being inked up for a few months. While I’m surprised, I totally understand the shift in color with exposure to air (e.g., a cap that doesn’t have a very tight seal)
I have a Lamy LX in maron and I love the colorway and when I write with it feels nice and cool to the touch. For February and March I plan to use pens that I have only used once in this past year.
You know, it does feel cool to the touch!!! I am still thinking about while entry level pen I’m going to use for February and I also want to use some pens that I haven’t visited in a while. We need to catch up!
I’m going to have to go with the sailor pro gear but I have been eyeing a platinum 3776 with an ultra fine nib… I might have to ink up the platinum soon so I can refresh my opinion
Sleigh ride has smudged way more in my experience. I haven’t had any smudging with good tidings but I did use blotting paper while writing. Sleigh ride smudged days after writing with adequate dry time
You are MOST welcome! I try to keep up with comments because I really appreciate a response when I comment on others videos but certainly there are times where days go by before I allocate the time to commenting. Lately though, knock on wood, I have been enjoying checking a few times a day and replying when I’m transitioning between buildings at work or while cooking dinner or watching a show, etc.
Hi Erin, I really enjoyed hearing how you found the pen and ink pairings. I had a green ink in my Pelikan M400 this month too, like minds 💚 TFS 😊
I am honored to have a like mindedness with you!

You had a lot of 10's this month! PA Fieldstone is one of my all time faves.
I did! I was feeling very content with my pen and ink pairings this month!
oh my word, that Kintsugi pen !!
Right!?! It’s gorgeous and I love it!
Great review. Curious which you like better your Sailor Pro Gear or your Platinum 3776? I’m considering a purchase. Thanks.

Did you find the Diamine Good Tidings smeared after you let it dry for a while? I've been scared to use it after I saw Mountain of Ink's poor review
