Even the old s9 screen looks premium😍
actually One UI 2.1 came out in 2020, which is 4y ago and not 6 but the S9 itself is 6y old
Samsung fans always complain and are the most drastic with criticism when it comes to a change. because the icon is not ok, the notification bar blah blah... you don't know how to appreciate new changes. at least apple fans shut up and move on. I really like the changes brought by Samsung and they are on the right track. mature design. mature interface but there are always people who complain about stupid things
Resignation is not a positive thing. When you spend over 1K+€ on a phone you got the right to complain
@@levipb1403 to complain about what? for serious things yes, but for trivial things I find it pathetic. change something Samsung and that's it... throw stones, what a shitty brand. I'm moving to apple, xiaomi blah blah. The interesting part is that serious brands that you know for sure that you have a good OS and guarantee, insurance are only apple, samsung and google. They have mature design, mature OS and frequent updates. look at the abominations of phones produced by other brands... they delight you with fireworks, but the stability, the warranty and the OS say everything about them.
Always samsung fandom, ahhh...
You are right, i dont think the icons are worth complaining over. You can change them, all the same.
But thing is, feedback is important. And if the majority are not pleased with the icons, its right for them to complain.@@danitamaslicaru8260
@@danitamaslicaru8260 not everyone wants cheap looking 1000+ bucks device Danny boy. And if you watched this video, you'd know it's about things NOT being changed. "Mature design" lol
The one ui 6.1.1 update they downgrade and mess the s23 ultra specially the camera to make feel better the s24 ultra
Im so looking forward to leave Samsung forever waiting for Vivo x200 and oneplus 13. First time since s21 I felt this way. There is no reason to hold on to Samsung who stopped innovate.
i would prefer more optimize ui for battery friendly in one ui 7
Watching this on S9 with plan to upgrade to s24ultra or s25 plus.
Legend!!!
Keep the S9, it's perfect fir backup phone.
S25 Ultra
I use Nova and none of the home user interface updates matter to me. All these years all these phones and I'm still having it my way.
I also used it many years ago and I would like to use it again, but I can't set something important for the gestures
With the upward gesture, instead of the application drawer appearing, appears nova serch😡😫
I tried with the free version from the play store and with the mod apk version from the net and the same problem
@@S.t.a.r.k.40 change it in nova settings 😅
@@Mr-Khubaib. I know that in the free application it cannot be set, it is set by default, but in the online application I can change it to anything, but when I set it to show applications, the keyboard appears to search
@@S.t.a.r.k.40 there will be an option 'show keyboard' in nova settings
We're about to say goodbye to the 2018 icon one ui! People need the new set of icons on one 7.0 that look new and more attractive, not boring
0:22 what was that 😅 on a 1200$ phone
Yep, is still there, need to restart 😵💫
@@VelianSpeaksTech 😐
I have Note 8 running One UI 1.0, the first version of One UI with Android 9 "Pie"! However, I use GalaxyA55
5:33 plese do that same comparion in 24 vs s9 but also with both at 60 hz. Or u can say kepping 24 on powersaving mode
I love the s24 ultra 😢.i wish i had one
4:00 i love you. But i disagree that icons needs changing. They are good. The new ui 7 icons are not that good
The new gallery icon is ugly, agree, they can keep the classic and offer One UI 7 icon pack, something like that.
@@VelianSpeaksTech man u spoke my heart ❤️. Option to chose for modern icon would be lovly. But i bet samsung wont do that sadly 🥲
@@IronLad dude samsung icons are ugly af, they do need a redesign but definitely not the ones on the leaks
@@PILATESDILEMMA I disagree. Current samsung icons are the best. They should keep it. But i heard that the new redesign icons are look ugly.
@@DesiGamer-c6n nah they suck, im glad there are good icon packs alternatives, otherwise i would not use samsung just because of the ugly icons
Awesome content bro ❤️🎁🫡
Tnx man, I d figured nobody is doing stuff like this, and I like to revisit things from a historical point of view, tnx for watching.
One thing I want to ask cause i think you are the real reviewer.. how is shutter lag in s24 u after the updates?
I prefer the older design but the animations of the s24 ultra
How did you make so the quick panel shows if you swipe from the right side of your status bar?
I want samsung to implement again the back fingerprint, its solid frame, and the stereo speaker of S9.
No, back fingerprint sucks
You don't have the one ui 2.5 update on the S9. Adding with that good lock would've changed a lot of thing if you have applied it for the S9.
Do a one ui1 vs one ui7 next year🤪
Should i use dark mode for Amoled display ? I'm little bit confused about that cause some people say dark mode actually burn amoled faster. Is it true ? and is statues bar , navigation bar/gesture navigation responsible for burn/ bleeding amoled faster? please let me know ......................
Share your personal experience dark mode/light mode with amoled display.
In an Amoled display when displaying black the pixels turn off. So they can't burn ur display. Bt these days dark mode is not pitch black. So it doesn't matter light or dark mode. Use ur phone as you like
Static images when viewed at very high brightness for a longer time burn your display. Bt some modern displays have pixel shift technology. So ur safe as long as u dont use ur phone on full brightness under the sun for a long time
Personally i use an OLED laptop and the S23 ultra. And have used S series from S6. All OLED. Never experienced any burns on display. In my laptop if i dont use it for a few minutes then I'll lower the brightness fully. And even then ASUS OLED screensaver will turn on preventing static display
@@adlzz2711 Please let me know which device you use and how long. Please give me some tips to prevent burn in amoled.
@@khalid.1e i use an S23Ultra. As for tips. Avoid using ur phone under sunlight at max brightness for longer periods of time.. thats the only reason AMOLEDs get burned. Otherwise modern displays are hard to burn in unless you deliberately do it. So relax and just use ur device casually
miss my s8+
Why should they change the dailer, it's recognition for samsung bro.
My s9+ running on one ui 6.1.1 💀
Man, One ui 2.1 was released in 2020, so the comparison between One UI 2.1 vs 6.1 is only 4 years old!!
The S9 phone is 6 years old, but the One ui 2.1 software is only 4 years old!
Where can i get this wallpaper?
Lunar app
Wallrod app
P.S. not 50 bucks
@@VelianSpeaksTech thank you so much
S9 had better animations in some parts
Honestly i never had an issue with Exynos processors, thats what we would get here in Portugal, but that changed with the s20 FE 5G that came with the Snapdragon and now with the s23 Ultra and the S24 Ultra, but now having an Exynos is an issue to me since i can't enjoy some decent quality pc games using winlator, Snapdragon has the best compatibility, Exynos, Kirin, Mediatek etc they're definitely missing out unfortunately
Yes... exynos had some good chips, but almost always they were behind snap, and sometimes the exynos chips very bad, battery would go from 8% to 0% in the winter, using GCAM mods were more difficult.. and of course performance was not the same.
@@VelianSpeaksTech i think battery was the more noticeable, performance was somewhat about the same, but yeah it sure did suck buying something and not getting the same thing everywhere in the world
@@RubenNeves22 Yes... I remember one freezing day, testing out my brand new shiny Note 20 Ultra... 12%, for minutes 8% and then boom 0%.
Damn though I loved the N20 Ultra.
@@VelianSpeaksTech that was my probably my favorite Samsung phone, loved the Mystic Bronze finish, but had an issue with the display twice, green tint at low brightness at night, it was a really odd issue, if it wasn't defective i would probably still keep it as a backup device, but now my main s24u and backup s23u is the best choice i made, i was worried i might miss the curved display and get a " worse " zoom experience, but so far I'm ok having the best of both worlds
Wrong i 2018 exynos was stronger 2019 they were at equal footing 2100 now goes toe with 8 plus gen1 despite being coming with 888 was much more stable even 2200 was much more stable than 8gen1 and goes above 8 plus gen1 2400 beats the crap out of 8gen3 in gaming
2400 5g modem came with 2100 still beats 8gen3 modem in reception yeah 8gen3 modem has 10 % more battery so what new modem which came in tensor g4 is coming with 2500 next year so snap cant do shit it only good chip from snap were 865 870 and 8gen2 and 8gen2 plus rest are shit @@VelianSpeaksTech

There's not enough room to put it.
I'm switching to OnePlus Samsung is a joke
Why should the airplane or the wifi change 😂🤔

I can still play pubg on my galaxy j5 2017 , literally runs on 2gb ram
Hello.
👋
6-7 years ago Samsung was way ahead of competition, both with how One UI looked and performed.
You must be joking
Nope, compare it to any 2017. device and it's pretty clear. Unlike today, when it's pure mess, Samsung could not afford one more mistake after Note 7 fiasco. Hence, S8 (and S9) are one of the best Samsung phones ever.
@@stevanb.2590 Personally i don't like One UI 2 or 3 for that matter animations, speed, aesthetics anything because I still have an old phone. I couldn't disagree more about One UI being better before. One UI is leaps and bounds better today.
@@panathatubeyou didn't understand me, it was miles better compared to what competition had to offer back then (2017/2018). And compared to their own Touch Wiz it was light years ahead.
Man almost 3min of nothing, get to the point
The animation is still lagging on the one UI 6
lag on s24 ultra? I hope you're joking
@@danitamaslicaru8260annimations lagging on s23 ultra. After update it was smooth for a while but it started lagging after one week. And i cleared cache partition imediatelly after update.
@@giogio772 ignore Danny boy, he doesn't know a thing or two but tends to get passive aggressive and triggers easily
@@stevanb.2590 little puppy did I give you permission to speak? I don't know what causes the lag on their phones, but they all worked very well for me. I had the s23 ultra it was great and now I have the s24 ultra with the latest version oane ui6.1 and the phone works like a rocket. I admit that first oane ui was a bit poorly optimized and had moments of catching in the interface, but from 5 and up it was all ok
@@danitamaslicaru8260 your low criteria for phones aside, but - you have to seek for help, man. No offense, you just have.
