It is very enjoyable to watch that you have so much fun with the game at the moment. It is inspiring to me as you do almost the same things in the same game , every day for years without end. 99.5% of people would just throw up :D

Steel keeps talking about having no bodies to prolif but as far as I'm aware pathfinder poison prolif isn't a proliferation effect, people just call it one, it doesn't spread the poison from the corpse; it instantly applies poisons around the monster when it dies. It shouldn't need corpses.
i thought he just meant that 'there was no bodies to prolif' because all the mobs instantly died to the first volley of traps, there is nothing to prolif to, not because the corpses disappeared
poison is not applied because monsters are killed by the hit so no prolif
@@Wulfebane7 Probably not because he crafted a cluster jewel with explode, the explode mod is supposed to do the same job as prolif, clear stragglers.

I imported the char into PoB (SteelPoles) and it doesn't seem to have any items on it. Tree is all there, but no gear or jewels. Did he remove all the gear from this char or something?

Yeah, just add a bunch of 10000% modifiers like d3 did, and see how the game will be dead in 2 leagues.
Question: as a new player, cureently kevel 56 shsdow in act 7, i noticed that i leave a lot of rare equipment on the ground due to lack of sosce snd the gem slot is bad, is there somethinf i should do with them or just leave them on ground til i hit end game ? Is there a mod for poe i should be using to show me reciprs etc?
they're not going to nerf it mid league, it will be gone when they don't transfer this league to core at the end because they need to 'make some adjustments'
Recently poured my blood sweat and tears into this build since it will totally be gone next league and I love builds like these. I run a Progenesis along with Immutable Force and Blood Notch but I'm seeing talk about Master Surgeon and Petrified Blood. Not that the build is already stupidly tanky with the current setup but would switching to a Life Flask and running Petrified Blood be even more tank?
So that's the kind of build they used to balance Crucible huh

I have no idea how he sustains mana. One thing that I can't figure out on this build. Other than that pretty freaking amazing build!

Reduce cost everywhere
Divergent Divine Blessing Support and inspiration pretty much yield the same effects linked to an aura. But I also pair it with flask that has 25% reduced cost on my MB to make my Zealotry free.
@@grimmover Its possible to sustain reduced mana cost on flask on boss fight without MB? I got Divergent Inspiration from heist, need to discover those jewelry unveils tho.

What bow type is the best one to roll the 600% totem DMG, or does the base not matter at all? (I have a +1 socket + 600% and iLVL 84 thicket bow)
Dosen't matter. just choose the implicit you prefer (or a lowerr base type if dex is an issue)

How did you deal with the mana issue?
Real question, why pepper in poison on a 100m+ damage build? Isnt dot cap 35mil? If you reinvested into totem life and more defenses wouldnt it be more noticable?
We because were converting some of it to chaos, and if we just withering step it as a pf with lvl 21 withering step they take 100% more damage so why not
sometime poison take time to ramp up so(you can stand still and throw trap) 35m and 100m may have some different on "feeling" when you play build
The DoT cap is there, but there are still factors that make a build that barely hits it feel very different from a build that massively overkills it.
Uber bosses and Delirium / Crucible mobs all get massive damage reduction so against all that content there's a massive difference.
Even aside from that, the ramping effect makes it feel much stronger with overkill. Hitting DoT cap on your first throw feels a lot better than standing there and throwing 5 times for the full effect.
So.. 5 days into the madness (excitement), have they killed it yet?

Honestly kinda hesitant to try this build, I feel like its one of those builds that just warp perspective and can make everything else seem pointless to try. I think I will try and make one on a low level bow/wand base. Fuck leveling.

Ok mr streamer, legit question: If i get only bow + gems, and lets say 20 points on the tree for dmg (like cluster or something), would i have 20 mln dps?

I changed to this build, does the leech still aplies? Im thinking in doing some slayer things. And is there any gem i could swap for lifetap so mana isnt so much of a problem?
Leech prolly won't apply cause tou don't hut anything your totem do, and even if the hit was leechable then it would be your traps that leech it
I do believe that if you play a mines version you could leech it with machina's mitts, but you probably can't leech anything anyways as it must be counted as your totem's hit.
Only way to leech a totem hit is to play chieftain, so it doesn't work.

@@LostRocks that's unintended then because minion explosion doesn't count as your damage so this shouldn't either.
But that wouldn't be the first time GGG is inconsistent

@@ticklord I think it shouldn't be as it is worded "your totems explode dealing 600% of their life as physical damage" Which means the totems are the source of the hit and therefore should be the ones benefitting from leeching effects, same as with the minion instability keystone.
Why does added ES brick that cluster jewel?
the new Immutable and blood notch jewels and es stun mastery makes it so you cant have any ES or it bricks the 60% of damage taken recouped as life

The totems still do base physical damage and thats a fuck ton of damage.
I think the mechanic is a cool idea, I just wish it didn't require investing a month worth of hard gaming to get out of standard league into the league mechanic lol

DOT damage is indeed capped at around there, but ubers take 70% (i think) less damage so you want over 100m if you want to dot cap on them.

its the overtuned crucible mod that deals 600% Physical Damage as an Explosion of the Totems Life when it Dies .
And Totems count as Dying when you oversummon your Totem Limit

Sigh, I fucking hate GGG's balance cycle. Release broken shit that makes 99% of other builds shit in comparison, then nerf everything to the ground because of said broken shit which forces you to play said broken shit.
Then that shit gets nerfed so you have to wait for someone to discover something broken and the cycle repeats.

@@HadesCannotBeBothered yeh fore sure. i agree with you. my point is more like, okay, get vengant cascade, use some cheese mechanic, roll crucible nodes and get some cheese totem build. like, the power in this game comes from the most strange places. the tree doesn't even have that much power, its too much gear focused, and then you build a well rounded character and it sucks but then its like, "here you go, play some cheese bullshit" like, why cant you just start a storm rain build and have it become good with some time and investment. nahhhh, someone going to walk around naked in a tabula and destroy ubers in 15 seconds. its just weird. for sure most leagues are like this, but from nerfing power on the tree, but putting in stupid places like an annoint on an amulet increase dps by 100% more dmg its just the weirdest game design choices.

@@Steelmage Yeah that's what I did. I see an impending doom character (SteelChatSF), Steelpoles which has no gear outside of weapon swap, and a level 2 ranger.

The interest for the game can't last more than a few days with a broken build like that. GGG can't let it be for more than a few days, they would kill their game.

@@Eilanzer I understand it's fun, but it 'll hurt the game in the middle term and kill the season in a few weeks. GGG must be working hard to try to find a fix. The easiest way, I think, would be to divide by 5 or 10 the multiplier of the totem explosion. The build would still be excellent.
@@ausoleil8269 It's not gonna get fixed almost 100%. Scourge had literally immortal boneshatter build with shroud of the lightless and i was only nerfed next league. And you are overestimating the build itself and the amount of people that are playing it.
