In the ruthless with gold event they did last year I got to level 70 and found 4 support gems. Fork, added fire, minion life, and minefield. i was playing chaos dot so only minion life was close to usable. Good luck getting getting supports you want.
@@Baba_Lemonade im not sure, i guess it could be interpreted either way? I think he meant that you don't need much damage to get by when you're experienced, though. But IDK
Hopefully whatever design philosophy that went into A1 monsters is nowhere to be seen in PoE2. The act is full of monsters that chill and enfeeble when you have very little opportunity to mitigate. Especially now, when they made it "hard". Several years ago, there were tar zombies too. In the early days, I remember consistently having enough mitigation (damage) to push through that and only desync rhoas were annoying.
Yay! I loved ruthless, it actually pisses me off how many people aren't even willing to try it at all and still think it would be a bad experience. "What's actually different" is that the game's base content, like act 1-10, is the hard content... and the end end game stuff you usually consider the only real content in the game, becomes almost unreachable, which makes it WAY more epic if you do.
As a person who played ruthless i can say my opinion. Cons The main problem with this poe mode is that you get basically no loot You dont have movement skills so you cant jump over the cliff or walls or cages. You cant buy gems so at the start you have to create multiple characters just to get gems Early game is much harder so most builds are not playable like it is now. Some uniques are disabled so you can build less optimal characters. Many passives skills are nerfed, Flask are nerfed and last very short to the point that you rly need to invest into them if you want to be colse to pernament uptime. You dont have stuff like fractured items essences The Crafting Bench is disabled no veiled items. Just check full changes on wiki Now pros As we can see above we are heavily penalised with crafting and build option. We have to play arount limited source of stats/option armor up our character so every decision count much more. You play slower game so you dont feel like im sometimes in normal poe you just blast map and you dont even want to back to pick tons of loot in ruthless you dont get that much loot so you prob will be able to pick up items better because whole gameplay is slower. All rares form floor could be better and they are more valuable not like in normal poe. Since game is much harder and your character is weaker you feel like playing poe at hard mode. But it's not exacly true in my opinion ruthless is not just poe on hard mode. I would say it is different poe mode with much different experience. You got less challanges to get whole reward from league. Since there is less crafting method overall league mechanic is much more unique. And you depend on it much more to get loot/items/and craft.
@@Wannabe_Chemist normal poe has become no risk, no pain, full rewards. There is a middleground GGG could have reached with ruthless and regular PoE that would've made the game way better.
I had to try ruthless too. Went with trade ruthless and gotta say kinda like it. Got a chaos orb from shipment and was able to buy a weapon that increased my damage 10x. I usually play SSF but SSF Ruthless sounds like ... well, not that fun. But trade ruthless seems like trading removes a lot of the difficulty.
I got super bored with regular POE loot explosions, nothing felt exciting. Went to Ruthless SC SSF and the game has been reborn. Too casual for HC. Made a few mules for clarity and vitality, few hours of work and now I can start LOL.
I started playing Standard Ruthless HCSSF because I want to play it forever, not league specific, and if you make a league specific Ruthless character it's voided after the league ends, not sent to standard
it's not voided... where did you even get that idea? GGG have literally answered this already: "We can confirm that after this league ends, there will be a permanent Ruthless Standard league, and Sanctum Ruthless characters will be migrated to it."
I need a challenge. Uber bosses on softcore melt from 100-0 in.a instant when you blink to long you will miss the fight Hc ruthless Ssf. Slow pace but rewarding. Also you learn the gamd way quicker.
you must be one of those people that don't realise that streamers play this game full time, and they know it in and out, thus they don't even need handouts to be successful in terms of in-game net worth. i pity the minds of such people.

16 minute video for the first Act.
Hurts to watch
Yeah, he is having fun with the 20hour campain while we complain for 6hours about how bad the campain is...
It's amazing how little damage you can take when you know the game.
Bleed is very strong, just scales kind of badly lategame for most skills/setups. But even like 600k dps is more than enough for t16s
@@linamiller4208 I think the OP meant player damage taken from monsters?

Are ruthless monsters more tanky? Or is it same as base game
same but the loot is bad. with twink leveler in act one you can have 1k dps instead of 12.
