Hi Ray, you are too kind. Honestly, I think Norway is pulling some of the weight 🤣 maybe! Just a little. Thank you so much Brother, see you on the beach 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch I dont have a car, but wil be fishing in Hommelvika tomorow, found a spot on the map with a nice ridge and offcoarse the spring tide this weekend.
@@Billyfishing_watch Caught a PB Pollock on a paddle tail. Filled up my cooler before i could catch any other species. The tip on casting in an other direction after having caught a pollock def. made a difference.
Hi bud. I travel a lot, and over the years have made a lot of friends. Right now I am staying with some in northern Norway. Glad you like my videos, thanks Brother 😁👌
Epic stuff as usual! Interesting to see the same holes fishing differently. I've been noticing some odd things further south too - cod/lyre in the usual honey holes just won't have a bar of it recently. Always a guessing game, but any ideas what other factors could be keeping them from striking this time of year? Can't seem to crack the code lately !
Hi Oliver. Is the water very deep where you're fishing, 50-70m? The fish are in the shallows mostly at this time of the year. Glad you liked it brother, see you on the beach 😁👌
Hi Billy. Enjoying your films. Have you found the cod and coalfish at home respond the same way or do you revert to bait fishing in Ireland? I've had joy off the Caithness coast with smaller fish to a couple of pounds but can't see why the better fish wouldn't hit lures. Especially ling
Hi bud. The cod fishing back home is all done with bait, you get some red cod on lures. But they're not that big. I have fished the north of Scotland, and did okay. Even got a ling, down near Fort William on a jig. But I think I was lucky. Yes the technique works pretty much anywhere. Thanks Brother 😁👌
Had to read the description to confirm it wasn't Ireland, it looks the same. Great video as usual! Thank you. Had to add do you ever blank there in Norway? the amount of fish and the quality is just insane.
Hi bud, Thanks Brother. No worries, only those that watch the channel can rate it. And they rate it pretty highly. It's just a matter of time the channel is only young and it's growing fast. See you on the beach 😁👌
Hi billy where would you recommend buying those slow jigs? I’ve recently started using them but they cost a fortune from my local angling centre nearly £10 each 😮
Hey Ryan. No not all cod, I catch a red cod! Red cod mostly live in the fjords, and they can be a deep red color, or just a rusty brown. Where has the open sea cod, how much more pale! But mostly I catch red cod.
Geez that pollack wanted that jig, crashed it like a freight train 😂!! I sense this won’t be the last time we see this mark mate 😊appreciated as always brother 🎣🤘🏼
Yeah, Paul. He wanted it real bad 🤣 Well that's 2 vids there, so far. Appreciate it brother, see you on the beach 😁👌
