Love this song, great work by everyone; but you KNOW my ear went to that bass! What a killer solo too, that dude was OWNING it! Great melodic playing with a bit of stank, perfect solo!
You came to me from out of nowhere You took my heart and found it free Wonderful dreams, wonderful schemes from nowhere Made every hour sweet as a flower for me If you should go back to your nowhere Leaving me with a memory I`ll always wait for your return out of nowhere Hoping you`ll bring your love to me
It's so relaxed it almost makes me mad XD!!! Any idea what his setup is? almost seems like he plays something soft, with a ridiculous amount of control.
And that is why I like tenor sax and I'm not sure if I should get one because I'm 14, nearly 15 and I don't know if it is physically suitable and the alto is a safer option and a cheaper one as well.
Chad is an excellent musician and technically brilliant. However, he should listen to how Stan Getz and Paul Desmond are playing this song. Listen to their melodic and elegant approach.
His stage presence is just fine. What's your reason for the advice to stay upright. His playing is in tune and he has a great intonation. I'm curious about your advice.
He's not an 88 year old man who can't stand upright anymore. Besides, playing like this brings your lungs in a difficult position to play freely. It's just a warning that Chad is not making a habit of this bending.@@aak030207

The bass solo was absloutly amazing! great melodic lines, good job Raviv!
1:50 some great decisions made by the bass player right here breaking up the constant quarters and conversing with the drums.
My favorite part always is the chromatic lead into sax solo. That kind of tension just makes the classic standard even more lovely!

Glorious Swinging Tenor Sax Man starts from 0:00 to the end
One of the most swinging tenor saxophone solos I've ever heard
Hands down, my new favourite sax player!
SO MUCH LEANIN BACK. Great stuff!
While physically leaning forward, what a Chad
Really digging the piano voicings at 0:32! Also, Chad kills it as always
This swings super hard. #deeppockets

It’s 6AM and this is getting my day to a new level. Going to go shed - swingin’!

his embouchure is so relaxed... great vintage tone.
right? Its ridiculous. Its what a sax embouchure should be. I never could produce a good tone with that one. Its textbook
It's so relaxed it almost makes me mad XD!!! Any idea what his setup is? almost seems like he plays something soft, with a ridiculous amount of control.
Even more amazing considering he likes it off center.
@@alexcazet2694 It is Lupifaro platinum tenor sax, Lebayle mouthpiece and lupifaro reeds with silverstein gold ligature.
Cool. Never even heard of some of these brands. Do you happen to know tip opening and reed strength? @@davidolahmusic
And here I am, thinking about Star Trek. This is really splendid.
damn that's a nice bass solo
Your cover are always so incredible! Love to you and the musicians who play with you! ♥️
F*** cool stuff there.. Greetings from Tbilisi. Georgia. . (Y) Good luck fellas
Great job! Just the right amount of swing. 👍👍👍👍👍👊😎
so swingin!
Beautiful performance!
I’d love to see a video from him about how to create such a relaxed embouchure.
the lick at 1:55 was fireeeeeeeeee
Crossed the fine line between swing and swang
Hell yeah, Chad!! Swinging hard!!
Great performance chad you are the best
You recallme coleman hawkins great!
Very good Chad, somewhere you reminded me of Bird. Congratulations.
Wow very cool. Hugs from Brazil.
This is how it’s done. Jazz is alive and well now and forever!

The sound is so three-dimentional, rich and clear!! May I humbly ask is it a one mic recording with mix? You guys swing so hard, love so much!!!
What Class , so cool, you ask how can Chad get better , He’s a bench mark of todays playing.
I hear so much Pete Christlieb! I really dig this
So true!!
Yes Max - Pete is all up in there!
Great pickup... definitely hear Mr. Christlieb's influence too!!
Seth, Herb and Geshmake, don't you hear a lot of Lockjaw in there as well? Just sayin!
Good point, Harold, I do indeed hear Lockjaw too. Good pickup, sir! :)
💛🍀🌷😀
Is that the former Michiko Studios rehearsal space in midtown?
Heard a little Christlieb on that one
A question to mister drummer how much he has to play a solo, what will he do?
Si do# re# fa# mi si do reee 💛🎶🎷🐤
Wonderful!
but it could be better with the Adam O'Farrill on trumpet!
You two together are great.
hehehe
what kind of gear do you use to record the audio? it sounds great??
Chad is an excellent musician and technically brilliant. However, he should listen to how Stan Getz and Paul Desmond are playing this song. Listen to their melodic and elegant approach.
What lig are you using?
nick jonas on bass!
I thought Jacob Mann was a pianist player not a bassist
RAVIV IS MAFIA BOSS BEST SOLO EVER
Does anyone else think it looks like he’s playing out of the side of his mouth and if that’s the case why?
It's what works for him best,I think.
he gets lower and lower
So filthy
all is good, but the drummer came in everyone solo, and its makes the song too bit loud 😞
Great song Chad. Just one advice: try to stay upright when you're playing!
