Thanks! It did struggle. BUT it was some very wind compacted snow. I used it on some slushy stuff and it held up quite well. It threw as far as I needed to get the job done!
Wow, that was some hard crusty snow. Light and fluffy stuff would have only take 1/3 the time. Good demo of the machine under some tough conditions. I've ordered the new 60 volt Toro e21 with the rubber auger. Supposed to be somewhat self propelled.Thought of getting an EGO but read too many bad reviews of their customer service. Besides Toro has made residential snowblowers since 1952. EGO's only been making them for the last 5 or 6 years.
Thanks! I thought the same about how long Toro has been making them. Lots of less expensive options out there. I want the confidence a strong brand gives when I need it!
I’ve found that getting one of those wide ice breakers or a simple simple, and loosening the ice and snow a bit for the path of the snow blower real fast, it makes it a much much easier time for the plow and the user itself
Nice video! Out of curiosity, why did you decide to go battery powered over gas powered? I don’t know much about either, but I have a gas powered blower and it works pretty well. Kind of annoying having to mix the gas and oil though…
Thanks! I went with battery over gas so there would be a chance my wife could operate it. Outside of that, I probably would have been slightly better off with gas so I wouldn’t have to worry about having enough battery life. It’s (battery)also quieter. I went with Toro because they’ve been making snowblowers since the dawn of time. Thanks again!
Thank you for the great review. I bought this machine just prior to the brutal snow storm that hit Amherst NY. it performed as well as my single stage gas powered Toro. Every penny of the $863 was worth the investment. It is definitely quality built and the battery lasts a really long time. It is easy to push and the steel auger cuts through hard or icy snow. You get what you pay for and Toro really delivers big time on this machine. You will not be disappointed.
Good show. I am going to wait on the electric and stick with gas for my next blower. Currently running a Toro 3650 in the suburbs, Twin Cities, MN
Looks like it struggled quite a bit. Thanks for the review.

Thanks, that’s a good tip! I’ll give it a shot.
I got this and it's amazing! Goes through snow and ice!
I moved a lot of heavy slush over the weekend. It did a great job!

Thanks for watching and commenting! I’ve used Toro in the past and they have always proved reliable. I hope this one lives up to its the name!
looks like that little thing will give you a workout pushing it all the time.
It does. Especially in packed snow!
2:42 “That’s what she said.” 😏
😂😂 I never caught that! And we’re big “Office” fans lol
Looks pretty useless. Thanks for saving me a lot of money. I’ll stick with gas
Painful to watch
