its been a year so you probably know, but that was the plot of pokemon black and white so it would be generally uncreative if they did the same thing one to one, which is why I automatically assumed its probably the legendary birds. Plus- they are in kanto how the fuck is the story going to jump all the way to Unova

Funny I think this might hvbe been an unintentional Easter egg but when the old man gave you the hone edge he says it's dangerous to go alone that was also an eastern egg because if you translate the letters it says when you mark something in botw the letters translate to its dangerous to go alone
That in itself was a reference to the original Zelda, which has a cave exactly the same at the start of the game, where you get the sword, which has an old man that says 'it's dangerous to go alone'.

I have a "funny story" relating to 1:44:00 where he was talking about power hungry mods as a joke
So there was this discord server I used to mod for. One day while I was sitting in general chat talking about some old ds games, a dude comes in and starts spouting racial slurs before dropping two pictures. The first was of a man getting run over by a train while the second was of a group of men r*ping a German Shepherd. After banning him and deleting that shit, he joins back with a freshly made alt and says something along the lines of "I didn't do it, it wasn't me who sent that stuff. One of my neighbors came into my room while I was playing VR." and he kept saying that mods were unjust and would abuse their power right up until we banned the alt. You can't make this shit up, but sometimes it just doesn't feel real
I would also like to mention that the only way into this server was from an invite in the description of a game on Roblox. Stuff like this happened so frequently that we ended up putting the server on lockdown and deleting every invite ever made

so i decided to poke this game while waiting for monster hunter rise to release on playstation...... i have literally found the funniest fusion. if you mix a shinx (head) and ralts (body) your pokedex entry comes up with the fusion name of Shits. so now my ralts name is permanently that. i didnt pick the name the game did >_<
i am playing on modern mode so the pokemon locations are different than classic mode.

What would be the most sweaty thing to combine with Shedinja to maximise Wonder guard?
If I understand this right, if you get rid of Bug type and add any Normal type, you might just have a pokemon that is immune to direct attacks?
Dark types still hit but those are rarer
Arceus would be the best option with Shedinja, but idk if you can get that in this game

1:31:50 the double region map is cool and all, but I'm still mad no one has figured out Sinnoh in connected to Kanto, and that no one has bothered adding that to a ROM
So the first four regions are all part of one singular nation with Kanto and Johto being the most connected of the four. (Which I’m pretty sure is why they are constantly shown together on maps, since they are right next to each other)
They are located south of Sinnoh with Sinnoh and Johto sharing ruins at the Sinjoh Ruins.
And I think Hoenn is south of Kanto and Johto. So really, all four could be shown on a map together.
I just got to the part where you use the pokeflute on snorlax and, instead of playing the animation, my character turns invisible permanently... this happen to anyone else? -_-

i've been hyperfixated on reborn and i 100% understand why you would stop playing. it's intense.
it's the kind of media i'm drawn to though. lots of villians who are grey morally and ambiguous good guys. but it's fucked up. i loved disco elysium, the magicians, dark, salem, etc. compelling characters and stories, but definitely not happy media.
