Just when I finished building Bavsargra and was looking for the next deck to build. Really appreciate the breakdown and clicking on the cards in the deck builder, I would not have been able to recognise the cards. Looking forward to your take on the prison deck!
Feel like they should add the trigger counters from Zero. It's just convenient, and information you can gain from the field.
That would help so you dont have to manually count them out

7:00 what you can also do, is persona ride with nirvana, then use amelia to ride up into the Grade 4, you’ll get even more power to your front row for bigger pushes with Grade 4 Vairina

It has OP and ED songs, Insert songs, character songs, CM songs, Image songs, and soundtracks from every series, and some of the songs especially OP and ED are covered by the fighters themselves

I personally like the build that runs a single copy of Expecta since it's a great finisher but this seems good too! I'll have to try it out. Thanks for the video! Also don't worry I feel the same way about the world cup lol
Honestly, I always prefer to use trickstar as a starter. It guarantees him into rotation so you always have access to trickstar and it opens up one extra spot in the main deck so you can run more key cards.
Dude, this is crazy. I have been playing Dear Days. I’m having fun and I’m still early in my playthrough. In at least 2 matches, I have been drive checking my Overtiggers on TURN-1!
And before anybody ask, it’s the dragon empire OT and I was playing oh Nervana

As always, I loved this video and I really appreciate all the gameplay commentary talking and walking us through the plays and thought processes. That is MUCH appreciated.
In that vein, I had a question about the Grade 3 turn at around 14:32, when you choose to attack the Engraver on rearguard becuase the Vairina can't hit. The whole thing worked out in the end, but I'm trying to be really in tune with knowing when to push to the face and when to curve out the attacks to the side columns. I thought base Vairina got +10k when attacking a VG. 20+10 would've matched 30. They probably would've guarded it plus attacking Engraver is a really smart play regardless, but I was wondering if we use that moment as a case study how to assess those situations in a more broad scope or if Vanguard is a broad scope game at all?
Would you be able to dig a little deeper into those kinds of thougt processes and how even if you could hit the VG and push for 5, it's not always the best play to do that?
base Vairina need to be in Overdress state to get 10k boost but he normal call it that turn :))) so just 20k
Damn that last turn was a pretty anime moment. Top deck Trickstar, then using the overDress skill, them 6 damage healing and final checking a grade 4. Who needs the World Cup anyway?

Please no, I can't handle any more protagonist power.. the last Mahar I went against crit every drive, healed twice, and flipped OT on turn 4 😥
Just got the game yesterday, and within 6 hours straight playing, almost completed Bavsagara and Mahar
The deck looks great. However, I kind of want to use the other grade 3 overdress units, even though it may not be as effective. They look cool.
Valiente is good for wiping the front row and dropping a vairina(which you can get back with retsuji next turn)/ extra trickstar to fuel drop zone. Exspecta is good for a big push to possibly get a pg out of hand to get ready for mahar next turn.

This game is so good i love it, it make me buy cards again now i have the trial decks and zeus , thor and adam decks from ragnarok (dunno why but i like them alot and ive neever seen the anime or read the manga)

I'd love to see shadow paladin, Draconic overlord and the magnolia decks. Shadow paladin and Magnolia esp. I always wanted to play a shadow paladin deck but it was too expensive when i first started and desperately wanted a game like this to come out so I could play them. Magnolia bc I have no clue how to play it but it looks really cool

How do we feel about running trickstar as grade 0 starter?
I personally want to see Tamayura next since that's my main deck, but I also understand if you might (and the rest of your viewers) would like to see you step away from dragon empire for the next upgrade/play video. That said, I don't think your tamayura would be the same as mine anyway. I can't find an answer, but I play mine around with Elba and can't seem to find a reason not to, other than that nobody else plays with Elba...

if you pull up the game in the eshop and look at the additional card pass, it tells you the estimated release of each of the sets. D-SS03 is listed as 6/28/23

Yeah agreed. Set 6 is already out in English but we're having to wait until like January or February before it comes to dear days. Really disappointing to have such a long gap. Following the Japanese reveals, and waiting like 2 months before it came to English was already a pretty taxing wait.

I also use nirvana but i always have this "no counterblast" problem.. should i use trickmoon as a cc or something
In my experience using trickmoon can put you in a bad spot because you normally want to call trickstar from drop to overdress. If you want countercharge, there's dragon monk gojo to put behind nirvana for on-hit pressure. I think the counterblast issue gets easier to handle as the deck transitions to grade 4 nirvana and esperaridea too. That way the power gain isn't locked behind a CB and is only reliant on having an Overdress unit in the front row. Since dear days makes it easy to build decks, try out trickmoon if you'd like to. I usually plan out ahead of time for using my CB and what I want to use them for so I don't find myself needing a countercharge in the nirvana deck usually. You get 5 cb a game (not counting heals) so that leaves one for grade 3 nirvana, one for an arcs, and then 1 for grade 4 nirvana. That gives me two "extra" CB to work with for the game. An extra arcs use or an extra nirvana skill for example.
As DF put it, you might be going too fast with your Counter Blasts. There are some turns, especially when the extra Mahar isn't in my hand, where I skip out on the effect damage and I use grade 3 Nirvana's revive (before superior riding with Amelia) over the grade 4 Nirvana's revive, then draw 2 off of Arcs and call that a turn.

Have fun is purely based off you but Bavsargra is probably the easiest to learn and play
