[Insert joke and/or discussion about Tachikaze's 19-month and counting absence from Zero here] Nubatama-reminiscent ride line looks cool at least. Gives me an extremely minor amount of hope that maybe I will actually get some kind of Dinodragon ride line someday and have OverDress allow me to play what I love again.
There is no multi attack in Zorga, there is no Eugene worst deck, and there is no Tachikaze in Zero

Zeroth Dragons mostly ask the question when to use them (specifically this 3). For dragon empire, you can put the opponent in a tough situation without it being a kill turn but make sure they will die next turn. Stark is good (except for LJ I think since you need to synergize with locks) but it really demands you to close the game immediately.
Shojodoji is gonna be heavy on resources. And will need to make use of the counter chargers since I think that will be biggest issue if running the tiger lion thing. Since I don’t think a CB is worth sending one card back.
And usually Murakumo doesn't have too much CC, but Nubatama has. Well, Kamojigusa, V Sakurafubuki and other good CC for Nuba exist
What are you talking about with called from hand effects not being activatable during BP? Magatsu storm and Jakumesso call from hand during battle phase, although this does not enable more than 5 attacks it still could be activated.

I'm glad I stopped playing Zero, the G era turned it into a pay 2 win and I ain't doing that. Still a little sad tho, it used to be so good

As a Nubatama player(and indirectly a Murakumo player), finally we have HARD Narukami Counter play in premium that isn't useless in the Vanguard Circle next to Yamishibuki's super early token spamming.
And in my experience, that G1 competes in the same spot as G3 searcher slot because cc and better G3 searcher can't be replaced in the current lists.
BTW that rideline accelerates everything that Nubatama does, from Mizukaze to Hanzo.
Definitely has extremely good Nubatama and Murakumo premium potential, and being a 10k base is better than a 9k base.
Most of it seems Nubatama unless you can manage resources. Murakumo doesn't look like it has so much countercharge, but it still works wonders

So new to vanguard , but for the tournaments do u need a deck for each format bc they play all of the formats? Or is it just standard?
Check the tournament your going to. Most often there will be a single format selected for the tournament, with most bigger tournaments organised by bushi themselves having different formats play different tournaments over different days - usually over the stretch of a weekend.

Nubatama in D standard not quite.
This is a strange one that fitd many rolls it has gear chronicle vibes, it has bermida triangle vibes and some of the second wave of nubatama.
But it dies not have the mechanic that is signature of nubatama. Hand destruction( discard card of the opponent hand) since set 01 of thw game in 2011 that has been nubatama feature and none of this cards do that.
This is more similar to the field control that was given to nubatama in the second wave( in set 13 of the game, it was 12 set without support bushiroad that will never be forgiven) they bind field and then put in graveyard.
Sadly as someone that likes nubatama this is the closest thay bushiroad will get to nubatama since they are afraid of printing hand destruction cards and now every single ride line has to make mandatory 4+ attacks.
Nubatama is definitely known to take mechanics from other clans so this is very on brand for the clan representation wise. Plus this is what I imagine afterimage would have played if they have it actual pay off and it wasn’t gimped by having discard which as a long time Nuba player they have no idea how to make balanced

as a Tachi main idc about zero but I sadly know for OD its going to be so late into the anime they probably wont get a second wave of support and as always will probably be mid as first waves of tachi always are

Yes. Stand triggers haven't been in the format since G, but they are still usable in Premium - they are just illegal in V premium and Standard.

Nubatama art? Yes. Play style? Not even a little. The biggest thing Nubatama has always done is enemy hand manipulation and there is NOTHING in Standard that does that :( I MISS MY NINJAS!
