I like the term BAUBLES better than Balls , then perhaps your RIBBONS or use alterations like BANDS or BELTS for your hat pattern. Oh It would be lovely if some of the men, and their beards 🙃 , from the retreat would come join some of the weekly meetings . I was quite impressed when I saw Mark Vogels knits for 2023 as well. Loved the close up view Jenny showed of her current jumper and its construction . I have not jumped on the popular Ranunculus bandwagon , BECAUSE of the fit. I am not an experience knitter but I do know people will absolutely love the sweater more than IT on me 😀 I have not tried a yoke sweater yet , a Phrancko would be a great one , (being familiar with them) , since a Phrancko crew was the first sweater I ever made.
I'm still working on a name. Cathy suggested "Festivity Hat" and I like that, so maybe that will be it. Or maybe it will be "La Fiesta." I'm looking for a name that implies celebration, fun, and exuberance. Yes, I invited them to join our meeting and they promised to drop in some time. I am happy to have been introduced to Mark Vogels channel. I watched an hour long video where he evaluated his notions. Very enjoyable and informative. ruclips.net/video/Fj_UkzSfhmg/видео.htmlsi=vS1lhdlim4bLK2tu I love hearing that your first sweater was a Phrancko Sweater. I wanted the pattern to be accessible to knitters who had never created a sweater before.
I have continued to explore names for the hat. I now think I'm going with "Jollity Hat"...as in light-hearted fun. That's the feeling the hat gives me.
Looking good!!!

@KnittingbyPhrancko Sounds good, it seems difficult to come up with names that won't be lost in a sea of other design names .
